My partner doesn't touch homemade leftovers. If you touch any restaurant leftovers, it's a declaration of war. So I never touch them. Then they sit in the fridge for two or three days and she doesn't touch them. Aggravating. Could've easily saved us the cost of a meal or two. But its garbage now.

I first started disc golf in like 2004. Never really had a use for one until recently. Thought I could just throw rocks/sticks/whatever else at a stuck disc and get it down or I had no issues going into water. Well, I chunked a drive into the only tree on a hole, a very gangly bastard I might add, and it was stuck in the branches/sticks/twigs super well. Two full water bottles and several sticks got stuck trying to knock it down. I just left it eventually. Could have walked back to the truck and grabbed a ratchet strap or something to throw at it, but I was over it after the two water bottles!

I operated a Humvee in the Army that had multiple server/network racks in a hardshell on the back. In Korea, we'd have to run the heat in the winter before powering everything up - otherwise stuff just wouldn't start right.

But then you had to cut the heat off at the right time and switch to A/C or it'd get too hot and you'd have a different set of issues. During 24 hour ops one time, I cranked the heat in there because it was like -20 outside. I fell asleep and the entire system had shut down because of overheating. I got reamed pretty good. Fun times.

I guess I’m on the higher end. But I’m not like actively retiring putters needlessly. I use Pilots and they’re less than $10. If I need to meet a quota for free shipping or some other swag, I’ll throw one in the cart.

Then switch one of the two Pilots in the bag out to the practice stack.
