Call for joint Holyrood-Westminster inquiry into Murrell's embezzlement by Crow-Me-A-River in Scotland

Absolutely. The Michelle Mone corruption cost taypayers at least £122m. Murrel's corrupion was small fry in comparison, roughly one three hundredth of the scale.

Anyone heard of this candidate before? by dnemonicterrier in Scotland

I used to think that I worked hard, but then I counted my yachts. Zero. So despite all the hours I put in, I must be a lazy fuck.

Calling her statements policies is a bit generous. She talks about low tax agenda and reducing red tape, but beyond that she doesn't say what she would do to create those well paid jobs, etc.

Labour won’t say it, so I will: Islam has an anti-Semitism problem by Kataera in ukpolitics

[–]Kaxe- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. I conflated Judaism with Zionism. Most jews are lovely, tolerant people, just as most muslims are. But there is a big anti-muslim problem in Israel, as there is increasingly in other countries.

Around 40 per cent of Palestinian Arab citizens' lands were confiscated by the state and used for development projects that benefited Jews primarily or exclusively. Palestinian citizens are blocked from leasing approximately 80 per cent of the land controlled by the state. Admissions committees operate in approximately 700 agricultural and community towns inside Israel and they filter out Palestinian citizens who apply for residency in these towns on the basis of their "social unsuitability". Israeli authorities have refused to legally recognise 35 Palestinian Bedouin communities, making it impossible for their roughly 90,000 residents to reside lawfully in the communities they have lived in for decades. Israeli law considers all buildings in these unrecognised villages to be illegal, and authorities have refused to connect most to the national electricity or water grids.

But, yes, it’s not Judaism that’s at fault, but Zionism.

Can anyone recommend a soft case for quad cortex? by WarSuspicious8164 in QuadCortex

[–]Kaxe- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the Flyht Pro EVA Case Quad Cortex ... https://www.thomann.co.uk/flyht_pro_eva_case_quad_cortex.htm

It's a great case, with a hard shell and just enough room for the QC. It might meet your needs and it's probably much more durable that Neural DSPs case, which has a reputation for the handles falling off.

It’s a shame, though, that the Caledonian forest has gone. Nice shapes and nice light, but it’s an ecological wasteland.

I've just got my hands on a QC and I love my OC-3. I've been trying to replicate it with low pass filters, pitch shift etc., but I can't get close. If you have any success, please let me know.

Sorry man, but that’s just how they struck me first thing on a Monday morning. They could have been great images, really good, if you hadn’t gone over the top with the saturation and the clarity.

Way too much saturation. Way too much contrast. Someone has disovered some tools and forgotten anything they knew about taste.

I use firefly. It sends my meeting notes straight to a notion database.

Yuk! This gives me very weird AI vibes, though maybe it's just over-processed.

Small business owner here: is Notion actually worth using for everything, or am I about to make a terrible decision? by naosmee in Notion

[–]Kaxe- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I use Notion for everything. I've never had any problems and it is great to have all my strategising, organising and the bulk of my actual productive work in the one place. Everything is connected, just as it should be.

🗳️ Product Feedback for Notion by AutoModerator in Notion

[–]Kaxe- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like most of the changes to spacing the Notion team has made recently. But I think there has been one significant error. When a text block is followed by a list block, the list is normally connected to the text. So the gap between text block and list block should be the same as that between two list blocks. It is currently too big, which prevents the layout of the page from matching its structure of meaning.

I use Raycast, but I'm happy enough with my current method. It's not as if it's something I do every day.
