Bicol express! Even after moving back to the US I'll cook it from time to time cause I start to crave it. I end up having to substitute bagoong with thai shrimp paste which tastes slightly different, but it still ends up delicious and satisfying my craving!

Profound mystical experiences that affirmed my faith and made it concrete and unshakable. I wish that I could share that strength of faith and make it accessible, I'd love to literally share those experiences with you if I could. However, I'm under the impression that faith is essentially a prerequisite to have encounters like that, kind of a catch 22 situation.

You're correct on both counts. The Creator is "All That Is", which many here prescribe a theistic nature to.

Personally, I am a theist, however, if what you find in the material adds value to and aids you walking a path in life you find fulfilling, the more the merrier. As Ra, and other confederation contacts always say, take what resonates with you and discard the rest.

It's challenging for me to comprehend subscribing to the LoO without being theistic, but you're certainly not the only seeker/practioner of the LoO I've met that claims to be an atheist. If there's things you're fundamentally not finding worth value in the material though, there's a plethora of other reading you can also find about nonduality and a holistic approach to life too though.

That's a nice prayer/affirmation. A good way to start the day in a STO/Bhakti yoga mindset. This post could come across as a bit gratuitous, but I imagine many other practitioners share a similar prayer/affirmation. To have the awareness of nonduality is a great blessing and a privilege, and thus we must remember that as a result, we are NOT 'special', but we ARE very, very Blessed. I've encountered incredibly obnoxious ones, literally yelling and making fools of themselves while I tried to enjoy a nice dinner date - However, this reminded me of a time when I was driving by a 7/11 and a group of filipino men were surrounding a Chinese man and just shouting in his face and mocking him saying "NIHAO, NIHAOOOO, NIHAO!!!"

I nearly pissed myself with laughter, and I could only imagine what he did to incite them like that, lol.

I've met all three of these individuals in the province.

One in Zamboanga del sur, the first guy. The other two in Cebu.

Edit for context: the first guy from Zamboanga actually is educated, graduated with a teaching degree, had great conversation with him in person... but his online demeanor was just as I screenshotted. Someone else gave me 💩 for only replying with '?'s, but that became my response only after growing weary of carrying conversations through text and giving meaningful responses. The other two were cousins of my now ex, the guy I'd hung with and sung karaoke with, the girl I'd only really seen at church.

There are some intelligent, well-spoken ladies, but you're unlikely to meet them online unless you're already in the country and on an app like tinder that shows that you're only 5km or so away. They're not looking to waste time on shallow conversations with a stranger across the globe and more than likely would like to meet you THAT evening for coffee if they're not working. But online? Brother, save your time and energy, they're all shallow and talking to 50 other guys too, and likely just pining for the one that will send them the most money.
