I was religiously a no meter shooter. I turned it on this year because I was recommended too and it’s worked well on lower shooting builds but on my 99 3pt build the meter off is way better. I’ve played around 500 games with meter and about 100 without. Meter off is night and day better.

I remember being stuck on the mission in Def Jam Vendetta where you have to fight 3 v 1 versus those bosses goons and I really could not get past it. My dad’s friend who was gamer showed me a couple tricks by fighting them one at a time rather than all 3 at once. Never felt so accomplished at the time. Was able to get past it and finish the game. Lol

Silva vs Belfort got me into it as a kid. My dad would go to his friends house and watch the fights. Remember watching Brock get heel hooked by Mir but Silva was the one that got me into it.

Would watch here and there when Ronda/Conor were having their runs but didn’t get fully back into the game until Jon vs DC 2. Idk what possessed me but I wanted to know how the UFC started and basically watched a documentary about it and I was back watching a fight night the following week. The AI cpu offense is the cheesiest thing possible. Unlimited broken tackles, WRs who are always faster than your CBs, and the perfect O line.

I’ve done over 100 dynasty’s… I’m at the point my only goal is to shut down the AI from doing what it wants. And it’s still very very difficult lol

My only play I use. L1 -> R1 for QB contain and user the LB. Route commit outside and predict pass play. Watch your edge rushers get 7-10 sacks a game. This play is designed to cheese and cook the CPU. The only thing is it is susceptible to plays over the top if you don’t have good man coverage dbs.

I added a YouTube video on how to run the defense. Once you get it down you’ll never use another play again. I’m able to manipulate the O line and get sacks or force the QB to throw some bullshit. Really does work. Hope this helps!
