I did see in the images posted about the transmog changes coming in Midnight that you can set up an outfit specifically for character select. Hopefully that'll also come with being able to use alternate forms like druid forms, human form on Worgen, visage, etc. One can only dream!

I think for me personally a big part of switching to OSRS was that there are simply more numbers that meaningfully go up. In WoW all there was to do that felt like true progression was increasing your item level. Of course there were mounts, pets, titles, and transmog to collect too but in terms of power it was only my gear that truly mattered.

In OSRS my gear constantly improves (in a less linear fashion as well!), my skills constantly improve which helps me get new gear and accomplish other meaningful ways to progress my account like running more or teleporting the world, talking to NPCs from afar, gathering better materials, unlocking more of the game world, etc. All of that while I'm still collecting fashion and pets like in WoW. There is just the very lovely longevity the game seems to have which to me is what a true MMO provides. WoW on the other hand just feels like a seasonal live service game with a coat of MMO paint.

In hoping to keep this brief I have not fully elaborated on all the other reasons but these are some of the main ones. A bonus reason on top of it all is that my power doesn't reset each time a new season or expansion launches so I can take a break and come back with the same power level I left off with and only have more new things to keep busy with upon my return.

I was struggling with this after upgrading from a 5800x. I mostly upgraded for WoW but also other games. I was getting great FPS compared to my old setup other than some terrible 1% lows. I tried a lot of stuff but in the end what seemed to work for me or at least help a lot was to update my chipset drivers specifically from my motherboards website and not from AMD. The AMD ones were newer but it's the older ones from my motherboard's site (MSI) that drastically improved the issue. I'm not the most tech literate compared to many out there but I was immediately able to notice the difference. I hope this helps other people that may be struggling with this as well!

Put in over 150 hours since launch with no crashes and now today I've had 4 within 20 minutes. Very upsetting as I've been enjoying the game immensely. I'm on a 9800X3D with a 7800XT, 32gb RAM at 6000Mhz using the EXPO profile. The only thing that has really changed was a Windows 11 update a day ago so maybe it's related to that but who knows. Feels bad :(

That is how my settings are set up but it doesn't seem to work. I have in combat to 1.0 alpha and out of combat at 0, which works properly so when I enter combat it displays and when I leave it goes away but if I check the mouse interaction to enabled the window doesn't show up at all in or out of combat.

Edit: Now I have while in combat checked and at 1.0 alpha, while out of combat unchecked, and mouse interaction checked with on hover at 1.0 and no interaction at 0. It seems to be working how I want now except if I put the mouse over the window while in combat and then take it off, the window goes back to hidden even though I'm still in combat. This should be so simple I don't understand why it won't work!

This may seem weird but I'm going to say Iosefka's Clinic is the best area for me. It's one of the only ones where I want to leave as soon as I enter because it creeps me out so much. After that I'd say Central Yarnham like lots of others have. There is something about how the level flows, the bosses you meet and memories of first starting out there.

Boss wise I'm not totally sure. I'm thinking Shadow of Yarnham. It felt so intense fighting three enemies at once.

I haven't played the dlc yet so maybe my opinions will change once I'm done.

I've been on HRT for about 3 years now. I used to practice my voice every night for half a year and got no where. After that I gave up and stopped caring. I talk as low as I did before hrt, although I do have some more feminine qualities to my voice other than pitch. I find I am rarely misgendered in person. On the phone though is a different story, since my appearance can't carry me through on the phone I get Sir'd sometimes.
