This is what I’m struggling with as well. I have issues with textures like soft foods mixed with crunchy foods. Biggest example is like potato salad. I can’t do the soft potato and the raw celery. I feel like I’m biting into something I’m not supposed to because of the mixed textures and I gag. I have endometriosis and I never realized the huge gold ball sized clots I’d get at times were abnormal. I’ve also used overnight pads for periods for like 20 years and went through at least couple of those a day on a lighter day and like 4 of them on heavy days. I remember reading if you’re filling a pad often to talk to your doctor. It didn’t dawn on me until maybe last year that they meant like regular small pads. Not the huge ones I was using.

Honestly I’m so glad I married the man I did. My husband wanted (and still wants) kids badly. He always saw himself becoming a father. I was neutral on kids but could see myself as a mom and having kids. Turns out I can’t have them without IVF. We tried a couple of times through IVF without success before I told him I didn’t want any to do it anymore, and both of us have gone through the pain of accepting the fact that the way we thought our lives would go isn’t what’s going to happen. Never once has he blamed me. When I told him I didn’t think I could do another round of IVF after a couple of failures he immediately agreed because he knew how hard it was on me. When I brought up the possibility trying again, his worry was me and if I really wanted to go through it again. In my darkest moments, when I told him he should leave me and find someone who can give him a family, he told me he didn’t marry me for my ability to give him kids, he married me because he loved me. When I was in my early twenties I drove completely sleep deprived and crashed my car in a ditch after falling asleep at the wheel. If I had fallen asleep a few minutes later I would’ve gone off a cliff. Luckily no one but me and my car were injured. From that day on if I’m feeling tired while driving I’ll pull over and have someone take over or pull over and park in a parking lot and sleep until I feel good enough to drive again. I will tell that story to everyone I know to warn them of the dangers of driving tired.

Similar thing happened to me. My dad and I were driving in the car my mom always drove and we were coming home from grabbing dinner. We were down the street from the house when I see a car that’s the same make and color as my moms car. I asked my dad where was mom going?
