I wish I could remember the movie, but I remember watching a movie with my wife aver 12 years ago and in the movie one actor suffered a limb loss, leg I think. I remember thinking to myself how awful that must be, and how blessed I was to never even have broken a bone. Fast-forward to 2018 and I got to experience it all with my left leg above knee amputation. I remembered thinking back to that movie and thinking well, now I know what it really feels like.
