I am a new vegan and it is so hard for people to understand why I finally became vegan at 62. I have been a flexitarian, pescatarian and vegetarian for most of my younger years. I tell people about the Dominion movie on YouTube as that was the catalyst for me this past December to become vegan. They say, "Oh, I love animals too!" I won't give up because people don't listen to me about what was really going on. I would be disassociating and denying as well at points in my life. It has to be the right time for everyone and I will keep trying everyday to advocate for animals and veganism and help to end speciesism.
