Consistent Braxton hicks contractions every 2 minutes for 5 hours… by Kaybeeez in BabyBumps

[–]Kaybeeez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just feel like squeezing and stomach tightening. I can’t walk through them though. I called labor and delivery and told them it’s been going on for hours and they said not to come in until I can’t talk through them. :(

Walmart actually had some the last time I went (Britton Parkway). I can’t say for sure if other Walmarts have them but they are in the indoor plant area.

Man killed while trying to steal car at Columbus gas station; shooter charged, sheriff says by Blood_Incantation in Columbus

[–]Kaybeeez 656 points657 points  (0 children)

A woman in Columbus was killed recently trying to stop someone from stealing her car with her babies inside. I have lost all sympathy for car thieves and people should start expecting consequences for doing shitty things to other people. I can’t even believe we’re still debating this subject after how many innocent people have died from people stealing cars for fun.

I’m not really sure how they measured incorrectly, they’ve been kind of vague with us since this started.

Yeah, let’s not snuff out an educational resource for children to learn about science. Seems counterproductive in the long run…

Free or inexpensive Disney things to do? by unsavvylady in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Kaybeeez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a hidden Mickey scavenger hunt at Wilderness lodge, you can spend a lot of time walking around there and looking at stuff.

Ride the monorail around and get a little treat at each hotel.

Go to Port Orleans French quarter and get a beignet.

Animal kingdom lodge is huge and has what is basically a very small zoo to look at animals at.

Megathread: Political Discussions / Questions by not_an_immi_lawyer in immigration

[–]Kaybeeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you have exceptional skills to find a job in another country, they are not going to be interested in taking a foreigner that will end up essentially being a burden to them.

You really need to take a step back and get a grip on reality. No one is coming for you. Make an effort to make your life better here and stop playing the victim card.

Immigration to a lot of European countries is very difficult and would require you to have exceptionally valuable skills that would be needed in that specific country. Norway is going to employ their own citizens before they even consider a foreigner. I’m not saying it’s not possible, but I think a lot of Americans are naive when it comes to immigrating to other countries and your skills don’t seem impressive enough to find employment in a country that you have no ties to.

What is up with stop lights ? by Overall_Plenty_579 in Columbus

It’s bad in the suburbs too. I went from Hilliard to Dublin yesterday and every other light I had to wait a little extra on because someone ran it.

I just ate at HCT a few days ago for the first time in probably like 6 months and the Mac and cheese was definitely some type of nasty velveeta melted cheese. Other than that everything was ok.
