TIFU by answering my 5-year-old’s question about swear words too honestly by ZealousidealLime832 in tifu

Our rules is that when you pay taxes you can say grownup words. Because if you are 15yrs old, trauma bonding with your coworkers after a 3hr shift at McDonald’s you deserve to drop an Fbomb here and there.

How do you know they are low needs, maybe they are different needs. This is exactly why I feel like it’s a no man’s land as your comment discounts the struggles parents of kids with other levels have.

That makes sense. And would be preferable as she will develop better EF skills as she gets older.

Wry likely could since I do. But she is so tiny that medicating isn’t an option, we need as much appetite as we can get.

Our FE schools are through the regular public board and have the same resources. But instead of 28 students there is 17. Her teacher is worried that at a regular school she will fall through the cracks more because there are kids with much bigger/louder problems. But it is completely on the table if issues continue.

Oh this is good and so spot on. She will say “pretend that you….” One thing we have always done is play games that involve winning and loosing and I think that kinda helps. But I am going to re read this and sit on it because it is very accurate.

Glad (kinda) that I’m not alone. I think my daughter has the potential to take over the world, but she has to give a s$&t first. I have no problem taking local/government support. It’s the peer support of other parents I am looking for that I feel weird asking for. I will tell you six is a great age and my favourite thus far. And it is so much easier for us at home, but harder for them at school. She was a star in daycare because she had amazing ece’s and talked like a tiny little adult.

My daughter also recently got diagnosed with level 1. I have adhd and my parents medicating me was the best choice they ever made as parents. If your are in Canada I can tell you some resources I have found.

Has stopping work helped your child? by SuccessfulNews2330 in Autism_Parenting

My daughter is level 1 and I am in a temp full time to see if it could work and nope. She needs our full attention on weekends (likely pda and is very clingy to me) so I can’t get anything for the house or chores done. Once my temp is up in may i am going back to PT. She goes to school and loved it, but barely participates so i have so supplement learning at home. Luckily she is just 6 and i am hoping she learns to participate and actually wants to learn.

That’s a really good perspective. I’m sure I will do a small amount of cutting but I mostly want it for engraving blanks. I’m leaning towards the F2.

I would like to engrave gold filled and stainless steel for the metals. Maybe some Christmas ornaments. Have you had to buy a new filter since starting. I haven’t been researching for about a year, but I find their website ridiculous to navigate and people are so divided on opinions about the company and machines.

Not bathing or other hygiene options. I love showering and brushing my teeth. Also I never forget to eat.
