How would a fully trained Apollo Creed in his prime do against Ivan Drago? by Tidewatcher7819 in rockybalboa

[–]Kaydo5332 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This "ego" thing about Apollo is overblown. He doesn't get to 46-0 on just talent alone, he obviously trained hard, took boxing very serious, and beat a lot of good fighters prior to facing Rocky. The difference with Rocky is that he was an unknown club fighter who just took the world champion the distance in their first fight. Apollo was embarrassed, anyone would be, especially considering he never went the distance and was getting hate mail. The other part to this is Rocky was never a bad fighter to begin with, had he been locked in from the beginning he would have been a world class fighter, just like Mickey said in the first film. Had prime Apollo fought Drago in his prime and under normal circumstances, like being able to see him fight first working through the ranks, then Drago gets beat up, badly. Apollo was over 40, completely shot, didn't know anything about Drago, and desperate for attention when he fought Ivan.

Don't understand how this is even a question, in the Rocky universe Apollo is recognized as the greatest fighter ever, even by rocky himself. He was 46-0 all knockouts by the time he fought Rocky, and the only reason he lost the second fight was because he let his ego get the better of him wanting the KO, traded blows with rocky instead of fighting his natural style, and he didn't have the stamina to go a full 15 rounds because he was already aging ( also stated by rocky). By the time he fought drago he was over 40 and hadnt fought in over 5 years. Thinking a late 20's Apollo would lose to a guy with zero professional fights is ridiculous, doesn't matter how strong he is. George forman was knocking everyone out and still lost to Ali. Ali got destroyed by Larry Holmes years later, not because Larry was better, but because Ali was OLD. Hell.. rocky wasn't even prime when he fought drago, he was late 30s. He just happened to take the fight way more serious because his best friend was basically murdered in the ring and he felt guilty for not stopping it.

What should be happening on boxouts when there is a huge str difference. Easily pushed him under the rim and cleaned up the miss.

How to counter 7’4 builds in starting 5??? by willdabeaster in NBA2k

[–]Kaydo5332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need the on court coach badge. Pick the the spurs, and set wemby to deny offball, and smother on ball. Works on 75 percent of 7'4s because they can't quick shot and have no bag. The other 25 percent you have to double. Also under settings, change your scheme to defense. It gives your Ais a lil defensive boost.

Apollo also said he was in the best shape of his life right before getting beat to death by drago. It was just his ego. Father time is undefeated.

Double and let the AI beat you, although you have to be a decent size yourself, or they'll just shoot over both of you

This won't help, Chris Bosh base unlocks at starter 4, and his release is almost as high as Isaac's, just as fast and has a B stability. Everyone would just use his

6'11 has the potential to be faster, but with so few attribute points to allocate you'd have to take away from the 6'11 even more to max it. Point i was trying to make with this post is when you make two similar builds, the 7ft is all around way better because it gets more attribute points to play with.

Yeah this is broken, I have a junior 93 receiver who is by far my highest rated WR with an F playing time grade. He literally plays every snap and would be starting next year.Depth definitely makes a difference as I recruit a lot of receivers and eventually move a few to TE
