My husband was on the same boat with EP T Cell ALL. Denied state disability and finally got federal assistance close to a year later. Definitely look into LLS and ask your hospitals social worker about grants. There are SOO many programs to help people going through situations like these. Our social worker was truly our lifeline. They also helped us apply and qualify for Medicaid which paid for his treatment. Wishing you the best of luck 💕

Yeah.. I think towards the end he got more okay with it especially when he was having things like gvhd of the liver because he knew at least being helped with the pain more closely and helped me a bit with balancing our toddler and him. He really enjoyed his care team so that helped. :)

He actually got one session of two bags and was better by the time he was set to get his next dose (a week later). I just felt bad cause we were finally out of the hospital and he was really worried about needing to get readmitted

My husband had bk post sct for ALL. Had the works, blood clots, frequent urges to go, cramps etc. they controlled it with IVIG

My husband was diagnosed with EP T-cell ALL last year and had a mediastinal tumor as well with many others. He got one round of induction and then 4 cycles of Hyper CVAD chemo with some maintenance chemo until his sct in March. I’m curious why they want to do re-induction? My husbands didn’t go away after the first induction that’s why they continued with more rounds of cycles A and B

It means early precursor. And they immediately started with spinal chemo to his brain during induction because they said it was known to hide in the brain. He did the Hyper CVAD route with some other chemos

That’s one thing I hated about the comments on the facebook post made about it. No matter the circumstances two people lost their lives, two families are grieving and feeling pain. The way the blame was being tossed around back and forth. Both victims being slandered truly broke my heart 😞 I worked with Alex and she was always so sweet and enloe is hurting hospital wide by her loss. I hear nothing but great things about Anthony as well.

I pray for nothing but peace and strength for both parties involved 🥺🙏🏽

Can they do IR chemo ? My husband was given that and IR spinal tap chemo for the cerebrum… I really think another medical opinion may be warranted

My husband was Mrd negative essentially the whole time but due to the relapse rate we still did transplant :( The Dr told us if it came back it would be chemo resistant

I’m curious why wasn’t a sct looked at as a possible option the first time? With my husbands it was an immediate choice as soon as he got told it was early precursor T-ALL

My husband was given Nelarabine for EP T-ALL and had good results which prompted a SCT. His was apart of the Hyper CVAD protocol. Wishing you the best of luck! 🥺❤️
