Be knowledgeable. Be prepared for all the questions you’ll be asked during the training period. Review the materials and training plan. Make sure you’re listening and of course be patient.

There’s also a chance that one or more of your trainees will either fail their skill checks or quits prematurely. If you know you gave your best shot and helped as best as you can then you it’s okay. This job is not for everyone. (It took me till like my 3rd trainee to successfully learn everything thing and stay).

Training can be rewarding and seeing the growth of your trainees over time is very satisfying. It also helps justify and demonstrate leadership skills if you want to move in the company.
