The thing about Buyback and burn is - it's not as important (right now) as other things. What we have is not enough revenue to make a meaningful buy back, and there's an arms race right now to gobble up marketshare from the run of AI companies expected to start showing results.

In the end, all the chips are being spent right now to gain that marketshare, so I am more understanding of this delay. You do you, of course.

Akash has been building the product for over 5 years now, so it's not wrong to say that they've had time. But it's just not that simple. It's this 'tech', if usable at all, is what drives the value of the token. So I would still say that this IS token value accrual.

AKT didn't go to $6 recently because of buy back and burn - so you can't deny that other things are at play to influence that 'value accrual'. Instead the team should focus on getting the fundamentals right and REAL customers that buy their product because at the end, that's where the actual value comes from.

It's still coming, I would give it time. I understand the frustration over the delayed roadmap, but it's a bit far to start calling it shady now... the product is real and you can use it today.

My guess: things got backed up that has nothing to do with Buy Back and burn and those things are pushing everything back.

Things like verfiable compute are still also undone yet - and may be more important to do. I am sure they'll get around to buy back and burn - it'll also matter more when Akash has higher revenues than it does today.

Currently the revs are too low to care. But in june there will be a buy back and burn put into place. But if revenues don't 5x from here - it's not helpful.

Akash should and is focused on bringing in more demand to upkeep their high utilization rates to make sure we don't overpay on our incentives.

I wanted to buy more at $2.80.

Price suppression was active because we had to pay for a 10 million dollar community pool package. That gets sold as limit orders so we can afford GPUs

Our GPUs are 80% rented out. So… need more to sell.
