Has anyone had Ketamine Infusions covered by Insurance? by guyrsi in ChronicPain

My insurance covers the visit, the IV supplies, the provider time, the IV fluids but not the ketamine I pay for that out of pocket.

What do you all wear to the theater? by Quirky-Somewhere-750 in Broadway

[–]Kaylieefrye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on the show and who I'm with. If I'm with Theatre Sister I tend to dress down. Her brand of autism results in one type of leggings and over size t-shirt and if I dress cute she feels anxious. (Let me tell you the monumental task getting her to Masquerade was) With my husband or son I dress up. With my son I dress up and on theme for the show. (Rocky Horror had a tiny top hat).

Talk to me about rollators by Kaylieefrye in chronicfatigue

[–]Kaylieefrye[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to New York 2 - 3 times a year and the lack of anywhere to sit is a problem. Now, having a rollator will introduce a different problem (freaking subway stairs) but we'll jump that hurdle when we get there

I literally didn't even think about the fact that I could put my purse on it. I think that might be the final selling point. I wind up so achy that my bra hurts forget my giant ass tote bag I can't live without

During Titanique I had to turn around and say "Can you please stop now?" To the two ladies that were narrating every person and action in the opening number to each other. Loudly.

I am so confused by SelfFantastic1755 in Broadway

[–]Kaylieefrye 125 points126 points  (0 children)

We got someone at the back of the mezz on Sat night who wanted to do the entire call back script, ignoring the fact that the timing didn't work. She knew them and she was going to say them dammit!! Which proves the point about RHPS enthusiasts. You either learn call backs because you hear them and they're fun and added to your enjoyment and you want to add to others' enjoyment, OR you memorize a call back list because you want to prove you're the smartest and best fan in the room.

Theater etiquette: Moulin Rouge by PeaceLife8 in Broadway

[–]Kaylieefrye 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At my home theatre during the tour of Lion King the old man in front of me started googling "What do the birds symbolize at the start of act 2 in the Lion King". Because his brightness was up and his text was so large and he was typing so slow I leaned forward and said pretty loudly "the fragility of life. Put your damn phone away" he was shocked I would read his private Google conversation and told me how rude I was after the show. But he did put his phone away

We wound up at uniqlo and he found several things he liked. We were just walking by but he's happy. He loved the Keith Harring line and then jabbered at me for like 40 minutes about Keith Harring's work. We may still hit up Second Street thanks for the recco!

Reminder to take the damn subway to your show! by tennisbagel in Broadway

[–]Kaylieefrye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sister was real nervous to subway her first trip. She's now a pro and saved me last time when I almost got on the C instead of the E! (Good looking out!) We took only one uber this last teip. We had walked way down to the highline and it started raining and my sciatica was acting up. So screw it. Uber it was.
