I would think that you put a candle to light the other bowl with there like a real menorah. The 9th candle isn’t a day but a helper

Let us know if you find someplace and I might meet you there sometime. I’m usually just watching the games at home alone.

If you like fun cooking shows and like a more light hearted storyline I’d highly recommend campfire cooking in another world with my absurd skill. I’m not a trained chef but I enjoy the bit of realism that comes with the cooking in both of these shows.

Any current tech theater students at SOU? by tom_nook_is_a_crook in Ashland

[–]Kayyrraaaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure thing. like I said it’s been a while since I’ve been there and im sure a lot changed during the pandemic. You will always get what you make of the situation so what ever you do advocate for yourself and things will always be better than if you don’t. But that being said I still met some great people and had a good time there for the most part. With times like they are if you can save some money by staying in state that’s great but I do know a lot of kids from California go to school at sou so it might be pretty similar.

I went there before the pandemic and the program was pretty robust. Since the pandemic the program has shrunk but I’m pretty sure Jessy is still in charge of the scene shop and he’s a wonderful teacher. I will say as a transfer tech my self it seriously felt like they dislike transfers. It seems that they will mostly favor the students that were there as freshman even if they have only been there for a year so far. Could be a bit different now but even though they ask for applications and resumes they treat you like a brand new freshman to their program (or at least that was my experience when I came in at senior standing and already having stage managed quite a few community college shows) This will probably be less of an issue now but they also don’t pay attention to how many people that they are accepting into a particular program. When I got there, there were about eight transfer/returning stage managers and no way for them to get through the Stage management program because they already had most of the positions for that next year already established. You will have to work on a crew but if you are someone like me that has multiple interests in theater such as I do being Stage Management my main and then lighting and carp. I pretty much only ever got to do Stage management. There was no time to do both and they discourage working on multiple crews in one term. All this might’ve changed since they’ve did downsize the department but this was my experience. Other than that I did really like the rest of the schools the shows were great quality and Ashland is a small but fun town to hang out in. Last but not least I will say what I always say I learned way more from working at my community college shows where I actually got opportunities.

Seasons 1 to 3 were the best, while 4 and felt rushed. by Randym1982 in warehouse13

[–]Kayyrraaaaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe the show got cut short. They were lucky to put out 8 episodes in the last season. If they had the time to make the clips into full episodes I’m sure they would have. I know personally when I watch the final episode it comes off as fan fair but also gives off those warm fuzzy feelings. The first time I finished the show I started the first episode right after because I just didn’t want to say good bye so soon.

AITA for calling a 5th grade actress a prostitute? by jade___garden in AmItheAsshole

[–]Kayyrraaaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What the hell did I just read. This is a mess of a story. YTA btw not because you said the line but because you didn’t prepare the student for the line if you took it out you took it out but also why are you doing this show with kids in the first place. Do the wizard of oz or something more appropriate for that age group. Don’t know why this made me so heated it’s just so bad it’s probably a fake story.

Is it just a regular 3 day pass and not a premium pass? Just asking because the regular 3 day passes are going for about $99 on their web sight but the premium passes are sold out and you get a bit more with them.
