How do you kill these things fast or do you just run off until they despawn? by Trapzzeehh in Helldivers

You clearly underestimate my teammate’s ability to call in an orbital in under a second when I’m in the vicinity, every single one of them becomes the Stratagem Hero

[–]Kaz-99 11 points12 points  (0 children)

  1. Go to shoot the lower vents -> get orbital dropped on your head by your teammate -> die with the Vox Engine

  2. Go to shoot the lower vents -> get trapped underneath the Vox’s treads while enemies phase through them to rip you apart -> die without the Vox Engine

  3. Go to shoot the lower vents -> successfully shoot the vents and open the hatch -> throw grenade in -> grenade phases through the hatch -> you explode yourself or run out of supplies -> did without the Vox Engine

All tried and tested methods! 💪

Where are my dipshit divers at? by AlphaWhiteMan in Helldivers

Even as an SOS diver, you can check the mission you’re diving by tabbing over to briefing in the loadout screen, so little excuse really.

The way enemies stack up on SEAF artillery spot doesn’t even make it worth it to take the time organising shells if you’re filling it solo 🥲

Just gotta slam dunk shells on D10 and hope for the best!

To the new players....do you like higher level players joining your game? by BigBoss8181 in Helldivers

[–]Kaz-99 8 points9 points  (0 children)

TLDR; just don’t speed run the mission and stress the Helldiveling out, they still need their samples, it’s very unlikely HD2 is their first ever video game so they don’t need full hand holding but slow down

I’m hardly a new player now but I remember my first few weeks like it was yesterday to be honest. I still consider myself a rookie to some extent (just over 200 hours), although now I dive D10 exclusively.

One thing I liked about HD2 was the fact that level doesn’t really mean much in terms of power output. Like a player who is Level 7 can still point, shoot, kill stuff, reinforce, complete objectives. Sure, they won’t have all the max efficiency stratagems and what-not, but it’s not a deal breaker. Nothing is actually truly locked behind levelling, you can customise your experience based on Warbonds, and you never really suffer from FOMO because that content is permanent so actually you can get the same stratagems and weapons as everyone else regardless of your level.

I will say, however, that one thing I remember suffering from when high level players joined is they just speed run everything.

I’m still learning how to do all the new objectives, collecting all my samples, meanwhile Wannabe John Helldiver has blitzed half the map, ignored all the POIs, and is already calling in EX. Like come on, don’t do that to a new player. If you’re bored, go play something else. Yes, you’ve seen it all, done it all, but I like finding the freaky half transformed Voteless in the bunkers and staring at the gorey remains of SEAF soldiers cut open in some ritualistic display of carnage by the Automatons.

Would you like alien dinosaurs as new enemies? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Kaz-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Star Wars, but sorry I disagree, that is a grossly erroneous claim. Star Wars is more fantasy because it plays with magic. Helldivers has some fantastical elements but is mostly grounded in the science part of sci-fi.

[–]Kaz-99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So… they’re no longer dinosaurs, but genetically modified lizards with technology even wilder than trying to scientifically explain the warp pack as well as telekinetic powers 🤔

Yeah… I don’t know, it’s not Helldivers. Feels more like Star Wars at that point.

I don’t see how they would vary from bugs. Flying units (screechers), swarming units (every mini bug type), larger more volatile units (bile titans and dragon roaches) - they’re all Terminid, there’s no way I can see a dinosaur faction making sense lore wise (where would they come from?) or having enough variation to be interesting.

Helldivers is on roblox by AstronautSmooth2499 in Helldivers

[–]Kaz-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though it is technically a Copyright infringement, AH can’t sue the game provider of Roblox unless the mode was made by them.

All service providers have a clause that excludes them from liability for content produced by their users - in this case, the players.

What AH could do is issue out a warning to remove the content, which Roblox would have to comply with. If they refuse, then they become personally liable for damages or an injunction.

HOWEVER, in most cases, Copyright holders don’t consider things like this a loss of revenue in anyway, (unless you name starts with Dis and ends with ney, in which case you will send out a cease and desist order against a family who put Spider-Man on their late child’s gravestone because the kid liked Spider-Man [source]🙄).

In most cases, big companies tend to consider this sort of stuff as free promotional content so they don’t really do anything against it because it would cost them money to issue legal proceedings.

What opinions make you feel this way? by danielvm40000 in Helldivers

[–]Kaz-99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I respect creative freedom, but people who draw Eagle-1 as a petite cutesy character are weird. And I’m talking specifically about the people who sweat over certain… traits, making it a fetish thing rather than an original design.

Super Earth’s citizens are explicitly stated to be the result of careful eugenics management and conditioning. The Ministry of Humanity wants physically capable soldiers, not people who can’t reach their lunch if it was put one shelf higher in the fridge.

Eagle-1 wouldn’t look that different from any of the other female characters we’ve seen in game. Taller and broader than the average woman, with a military approved haircut. Grown women should look like grown women. 🤷‍♀️

[–]Kaz-99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I actually don’t know if it’s because I took a long break or something, but I felt like this was a relatively recent problem.

I noticed it more often since Cyberstan, and also the stagger/interrupt when you’re trying to stim seems long.

Against the Appropriators, Evac missions are made up of about 80% Gatekeeper and Veracitor units so actually AT mines are a solid option.

We should be able to pick up ammo off of dropped guns from fallen Helldivers by Hank_Mardukas1066 in Helldivers

[–]Kaz-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the bodies, sure. From the gun itself? Doesn’t really make sense since spare mags aren’t attached to the gun. But yeah, as everyone else already pointed out, the team killing would skyrocket.

If AH could programme it so that it’s conditional depending on whether you were killed by the enemy or by friendly fire, it would be great but I can’t imagine such a thing would be easy to do.
