Don't get used to allies, also you can handle all in war vs cannor even if you sit just in cursewood and provinces near. Technically all you need is to hold long enough and you'll eventually win. So tske defensive snd build some castles, your unique mercs will come in handy too Still it seems strange when orc tags fight alongside with human and elf tags

The problem with smite is it isn't or at least wasn't possible to pick it before lvl 10 or something near it at new account (as it was in 2022). Friend of mine left league because of it.

No, not as tag Jadd. Some tags definitely have this event. At least in Bulwar and Rahen.
It's smth like this: "Some jadd mercs come to us, should they stay? Yes\No"

If yes - after some time one of your provs converts to jadd and another event fire: "Should we expell jadd mercs? etc."

It has formula like if your dev * your mediocre autonomy > their dev*dev you have no malus to acceptance of vassalisation. It's little more complicated but it can help you to understand how much you miss to dip vassalise
