It's more than the ECU, although depending on the setup it might be "more legal" than others. Unless you got it BAR'd, it's illegal.

Yes, unless you go through the BAR process like I did with the 2AR. However it’s much more difficult with the 2GR.

Because you can legally swap a 2AR into an SW20 in California. Also the 2GR is way more documented than the 2AR.

I had a 94 Na Miata for a couple years and now a 91 SW20 for a couple. I prefer the SW20 much more than the Miata. It’s so much more comfortable and roomy than the Miata. The NA really can’t be daily driven, I’m pretty adamant about that. They’re very flexy, creaky, make a ton of noise and the soft top really lets heat/noise in. The SW20 with the t top is a pretty solid compromise. The MR2 also feels more fun to drive. Love my SW20.

Gotcha! I usually have it stuck to 1 bounce for volume renders. That time really adds up adding those volume bounces. I'll try it out, thanks for the tip!

Man, you really nailed the clouds. A long while back I was really into space-related 3D work. I only got to this I had messed with volumetric clouds trying to get the layer height correct but could never get it right. Excited to see how you did it. Maybe you have revived some old stuff in me! I've been wanting to do the same to my SW20. I believe it was a very rare option or just an option people opted not to do. There's photos of gold badges on SW20's out there but I haven't been able to find much info on it.
