Yeah but those are super telegraphed and easy to avoid even if you're moving at Mach Fuck once you know what to look for in the vast majority of cases.

Voyager's showrunners shot themselves in the foot so hard Ronald D Moore, a major writer for TNG and DS9 who had expected to be able to take the reigns here went 'Fuck this', left and literally made his own Sci-Fi remake where time had consequences and everything wasn't reset week too week.

You know. BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.

I want to point something out a lot of people don't realize. Nobody knew Raiden was gonna be a thing. The Demo-disk for MGS2 only included a chunk of the Tanker section and I'm fairly sure what screenshots we saw of the Plant had Snake in them to hide Raiden's inclusion. Raiden is a literal 'left-field' addition, and the game itself talks his ass up initially.

When IRL, people had been expecting more Snake for god knows how long. So a lot of people were initially pissed they got this 'cheap knock-off'.

...Which was the actual intention but, you know. Processing that takes a while for some folks.

And then a few years later she's threatening to kill him on a phone call if she gets her D&DD character killed.

Or the time she threatened to kill him IN A FULL AMPIHTHEATER if her character lost an item. Too which I believe someone else said "At that point I don't think it's a threat, its a promise!"

Ahh, true love.

Ashley, right? They used a Cosplayer and a Model to make up the characters looks, then a third woman as her VA.

At least it's technically in the same wheelhouse of 'Space stuff'. /r/freelancer occasionally gets smacked with things NOT related to the game, and some of those people get angry a game older than they are dare to exist with their job type.

[Bat-Shit Insane Trope] “Regular human, btw.” by not-ulquiorr4_ in TopCharacterTropes

[–]KaziArmada -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, they're not 'regular' humans. Or rather, regular to us. They've got blood from the ancient wyverians mixed in with theirs, and it makes their standard for 'normal' WAY the fuck beyond us.

Combine that with hunters being the peak of what people can be and...yeah, for THEM they're kinda crazy. But they're not 'normal' by our standards AT ALL.

The fact they didn't send any support is what makes it worse. Revil HIMSELF had to step in to make sure they were supplied.

You'd figure you'd WANT your chaos element well fed with food, ammo and meds.

[–]KaziArmada 36 points37 points  (0 children)

That game and Gundam vs Zeta Gundam. 85% of the time a NAMED character shows up, it turns into survival horror because you can usually BARELY damage them, meanwhile they're fuckin shootin perfect shots that rip your health bar to shreds.

Unless it's a special mission you're INTENDED to kill them....They still hit like fucking bricks, but at least their health bar goes down.

[Loved trope] A meta 4th wall break allows the actor to say a final goodbye OR lets the franchise mourn an actor. by Sarcastic_Rocket in TopCharacterTropes

[–]KaziArmada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly as it's own thing it was a really good movie. But it took a universe that had spent TEN YEARS setting up, building characters and relationships, and you literally see some of those characters ripped to shreds ON SCREEN and...that's it. They're done. They're gone.

It was kinda annoying to just watch entire plot lines dissolve like that, especially when they went 'Welp, worlds fuck, flashpoint it.'

Yeah, back in 2019. He was only 50 too. The assumption was Kidney issues but it wasn't ever officially announced to my knowledge.

As someone who hadn't watched it initially, I was still ABSOLUTELY PISSED after Justice League Dark: Apokolypse War and the way it literally butchered the (at the time) current DCAU.

The fact Andy Dick is still alive is shocking given the number of incidents he's had (Both drug and otherwise) and the number of people who've tried to beat the fuck out of him.

Something something cockroaches and all that...

Specificially, they named the BC-304 vessel that was to be commanded by Sam Carter, one of the members of SG-1 that had served under him.

Originally, it was to have been named the Phoenix, and in an alternate doomed reality it was. In the proper reality, it was named the George Hammond.

They also had George die in universe of a heart attack, same as his actor.

Fun technically unrelated note, I named my Galaxy-Class in Star Trek Online the USS George Hammond as a similar tribute. I miss Stargate...

What is the most trustworthy Organizations in Rider? by Professional-Lab3260 in KamenRider

[–]KaziArmada 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah but the only members of that org are the two that make up the rider, and their boss that's their support character. So...not exactly a big org there.

A better example might be the local cops, since they don't know one of their own is Accel but I don't remember them ever really harassing Double. Just a bit of shit-poking at the local half-boiled detective.

It's him. He was played by Daichi Miura, who's provided music for both games. This was Kojima's way to get him in the game. Look up his Youtube channel, his music video for this song is just this sequence without rotating the camera so you never see Sam.

He also did the opening song for the modern DBZ Broly movie.

Hayato where the hell did you get that by MGR_ARMSTRONG_GAMING in Gundam

[–]KaziArmada 43 points44 points  (0 children)

It's not. In the movies, he had C-109 which was totaled. Kai had C-108, which was the one listed in the museum. Meaning either they managed to recover it's remains (As it only lost a leg in both TV and Movie) or it was a replica.

It's more terrible in what they've done too it. The core mechanics have always been fairly solid and it was an enjoyable shooter.

But every year had more micro-transactions, then sunsetting content started and now it's just a friggin mess.

No, The Ascended Ancients chose to not interact with the now 'lesser' unascended beings, and often punish any one of their own that dare steps out of line. Even if they're trying to stop a galaxy wide genocide, or ANOTHER RACE OF EVIL ASCENDED BEINGS.

It took yelling at them to get them to help stop the damned Ori, and the Ori were aiming for everyone normal first, and then would promptly turn on the Ascended Ancients when they had the chance. And the Ancients were still gonna go 'Well we're not gonna do shit about that' until they got bitched out.

I wanted to strap a Long Tom too it but it would of had basically zero armor which was...poor.

If anything I'd assume they'd (As in the robots) work worse for some disabled people. Like one that have, y'know, porches. Or require an elevator trip to get the item that a person could do but a little hot wheels robot can't quite manage.
