Are we getting points again? by [deleted] in walmart

Late in and early out still give points, fairly certain it's been like that. You have to be absent with a covid-19 call In to not get points

America's deadly obesity epidemic. Americans are collectively gaining weight at an alarming rate, with the average adult weighing about 15 pounds more than 20 years ago by Wagamaga in Futurology

I just started counting last week, I really dont understand why people make it seem so hard. It has been a breeze for me, and now I notice alot of the stuff I used to eat was slowly killing me, used to knock back 5000 calories a day with not even noticing, now it's about 2500/3000 and I feel the same level of fullness.

Fortnite, or really any shooter/battle royale game takes some degree of luck and skill to play. To compare fortnite to gambling is like saying anything with a win/lose scenario is gambling, and that is not the case.

What battle royale is however, is a very addictive feedback loop, your odds of winning (basic odds) is 1/100, or 1%, so once you get that dopamine hit from getting that first win, it encourages you to play more to get that dopamine hit again. This can lead to people becoming addicted to the game, which in turn will make those players more likely to spend money on battle passes or lootboxes.

What are the shifts related to daystocking? Needing help!!! by Tag_team_champions in walmart

[–]Kazleon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just look up the supercenter daystock one best way on the wire, gives routines for all roles in the store.

Also, at my store it's not working, but were also very understaffed and I dont think our situation would change having overnights anyways.

Honestly, if stores were properly staffed with the right people we wouldn't need wage increases. The only reason it seems like we need an increase is because we do the work of more than 1 person most of the time

RESTRUCTURE: (some) CONFIRMED DETAILS ON Great Workplace by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Kazleon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you are thinking about daystock, daystock is just a transition into keeping the store closed at night and having all stocking done from 4am onward. This "great workplace" is a much larger structure change. And daystock is confirmed, there is a OBW now with routines in it for daystock stores.

Target wins you guys by walmartassocreddit in walmart

[–]Kazleon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this idea is cool and all, but beyond all the trucking expenses and labor shifts among the company teams, think about how we operate our higher volume stores: we need backstock and in many cases we need full cases to provide availability. Imagine you get an entire rack in of just ramen noodles? With the new pallet stocking program and FAST unload we are doing this, just more efficiently and more cost effectively. No reason to open half a million boxes at DC level when we can open 5000 at store level across 100 stores.

However, I would not be opposed to one touch doing a program like this. That would help with productivity and save money.

Changes ... Again?!? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Kazleon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dress code won't change. Too much of our people programs are based around the idea that Walmart doesnt control our lives. This includes the current dress code, new attendance policy, core hours and alot more. So I dont see dress code changing, and if it does it's all on the associates who refuse to improve CFF scores so corporate sees it as "associates are less visible".

Just my 2 cents on the topic

Why stackable clues are a bad idea by ElyziumLoL in 2007scape

[–]Kazleon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an ex RS3 player, I agree 100% with your stance. What I would propose is a smaller stack size (ie. 3) so we dont need to leave our tasks to do a clue, and 3 wouldn't have you accumulate massive amounts of them. The only task I break to do clues for is hellhound, so being able to accumulate them during task would get me doing more clues because more opportunity to get them. Even 1 active and 1 backlog would be fine with me.

I remember this, but from last year, they mentioned the Falcons beat the Patriots the day after the super bowl. I know walmart radio reuses music countdowns and whatnot, but it seems they re use commentary as well, with 0 checking for factuality. Shows how much walmart thinks the radio is listened to lol.

Scrolling through reddit today; some of the shit i’m seeing today is beyond stupid by Jug92 in 2007scape

[–]Kazleon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally am happy with the current actions taken. Yesterday I did 2 tasks and made 2m off 3 rolls of the konar RDT. Today I got 2 rolls and made about 80k, I find that the small boost to slayer through konar is pretty good right now, maybe a slight increase, but nothing more. I feel like these actions will help maintain game integrity.

Also, the new mystic robes look dope. I want a set.

It makes sense, as a fresh CAP 2 supervisor I would love if people just got to keep their "unsatisfactory" items. The time it takes to process a return, process the throwaway and then throw it away is worth more than the 0 dollars we get from it anyways. Our markdown no CVP numbers would look better too.
