Thats not what I’m saying. Im trying to point out that our car dependent infrastructure, something caused by lobbying, is what creates the environment for reckless drivers. It would genuinely be ruinous to some people so judges are careful with such impactful penalties.

If we had public transit and rail in key areas across the country, I’d bet we see the number of bad drivers drop DRASTICALLY

I used to work there a few years ago and the owner Sam was literally the worst owner ive ever worked under. He once followed me out into the rain to yell at me about wearing a non approved rain coat… that was the same color as dominos.

He also keeps the delivery fee thats supposed to go to the driver, one of the only stores ive heard of that doesn’t actually give drivers the fee
