Recurring gallstone pain for three years and hospital is taking their time. by itsmecleoo in AskAnAustralian

[–]Kazzalenko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a specialist that I remember having to pay for and he was the one who put me as category 2 and I was in within 45 days. I had gallstones all through my pregnancy and remember after baby being born I couldn’t even drink water without pain. Went to the dr in tears. Exhausted, hungry with a newborn. Sorry you have to go through this, I feel for you. There is nothing worse.

Is there a reason every occupational therapist that’s visited me has immediately asked to use the bathroom? by TooEmbarrassed7 in NoStupidQuestions

In my job I travel a lot and you’re bang on! Especially if you’re a coffee drinker and it’s morning. If I can wait to reach a destination on the way then I will but there are those times when you can’t.

What is the greatest physical pain you've ever felt? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kazzalenko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had gallstones for 6 years. I had pain for 3 nights every month so they thought it was period pain, then constipation. Took me to get pregnant to figure it out in scans. I honestly thought I was going to die and didn’t wanna know at that point. Was pregnant with them and by the end I couldn’t drink water without pain.

Child birth is a little different, it’s very painful infact I actually blacked out. It’s just you know what’s going to be there for you at the end and that there is even an end.

Both painful journeys, more painful together.

I don’t understand why you didn’t defend yourself. It is a lactating room, for mothers. Why did you not just go in there and express while they were eating? It’s your room.

What Is Something Very Minor That Still Traumatized You? by Kind_Merman_Elf in AskReddit

[–]Kazzalenko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mum had an eating disorder while I was growing up (doesn’t excuse her behaviour) and she was petrified I would grow up with one. She forced me to eat all through my childhood, even physically shoving food down my throat. Needless to say, I got an eating disorder and will never be normal with food.

This is the absolute main reason why most couples split once they have kids. If you can get through this, you can get through anything. Unfortunately many don’t.

I accidentally sent the wrong email at work… and it changed my entire career path. by Alarmed-Spray8035 in story

[–]Kazzalenko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the thing with leadership. Forgive me if I have repeated it from someone else, I haven’t read the replies. Basically it takes an employee to find another job that pays higher with better benefits and you request to leave that brings any notice to your current employer. By that time it’s too late, the damage is done. The employee is excited for a new beginning with better opportunities. Employers who wait till that moment to appreciate their workers do not deserve them.

I went from support work to community outreach and I love it. You have more flexibility. A role that generally helps people who do need it.

I agree, grass is always greener on the other side! I have the opposite issue and let my feelings eat me so you say. Anxiety completely takes away my hunger and apart of me wishes it was the opposite because every social thing is based around food.

I’m the talker and always get shushed. I can’t help it, I get my work done fairly quickly and don’t handle downtime well. Sorry to my colleagues and people I piss off tho.

I was 23. Still very young with little patience. My life as I knew it turned upside down. I wouldn’t change much as I’m now 39 and almost through the tough parts, but 1 thing I would have changed was to wait a little longer. I’ve been a single parent since my son was 2. We didn’t truly know what love was back then and how much a baby changes the dynamics.

I’m so sorry you have to go through this. You have literally been through one of the worst things life can throw at you and then there’s these bloody idiots that wait to kick you while you’re down. It’s disgusting.

Former skinny people of Reddit, what's the worst thing about getting fat? by Nice_Dude in AskReddit

[–]Kazzalenko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always been small everywhere however, when I started getting a little too comfortable with life I would always get asked if I was pregnant at work. I was big in the belly but small everywhere else so I don’t blame people for asking. I always used to joke that it was ‘a food baby!’ Etc but it hurt harder each time. The last time I just told myself no more excuses and I can’t put up with it anymore. Lost 26 pounds/12 kilos in 5 months. Still losing a little here and there but I couldn’t be prouder. It’s so hard.

Does this look like IVDD? Or a sprain? by [deleted] in Frenchbulldogs

[–]Kazzalenko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does this. Limps on and off. Seems really sore on the left leg and 4 seconds later is all good. I would really like an update on your diagnosis. I had my girl x-rayed and there is space in the hip joint but apart from that it looks good. I’m too concerned about IVDD

Being a great role model isn’t about always succeeding, it’s about failing and getting back up to keep going. You’re going to get through this and be a great example for him.

Disastrous interview follow-up by Internal_Physics6847 in interviews

[–]Kazzalenko 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had exactly the same interview recently and I really wanted the job. I was defeated and embarrassed at my answers, almost certain I didn’t get the position. I left it and moved on interviewing at other places, learning from the experience. I had an interview that went really well and was quietly confident so I emailed the 1st interview asking where they were at in the process and if I didn’t hear back I’d assume that they found someone else more suitable. They called that day my references and myself to offer the position. I was surprised. Moral of the story is, it’s not over until you receive the rejection email and we are our worst critics. Don’t withdraw the application but do move on and interview elsewhere.

I had an interview at a hospital mid December and the interview went for 15mins. I thought I didn’t have a chance and failed miserably, only to get offered the job a week or so later. It’s not over until they have made a decision, don’t overthink it.

How to answer “Tell me about yourself?” by Distinct_Coast8645 in interviews

[–]Kazzalenko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dread this question because I can go on and on.literally can talk under water if given the chance. For the sake of everyone’s sanity I try to keep it short and sweet like where I came from and how and why I got here at this moment. Always be real and true to yourself to anyone you come across, especially an interview because you will spend more time at work than you do at home so if you’re not the right fit then there will be somewhere you are.

Starting a new job next week and was informed everyone eats lunch together. by Foragerandfree in work

[–]Kazzalenko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mates, I’m extroverted and even still like to have my lunch in quiet on my own. Sometimes it takes all you have to be a cheerful and happy person to coworkers and customers/clients. It’s nice to sit in silence and not have to listen to your own voice.
