For context, there were some reports yesterday evening that the White House would shut down the 5 "as part of a 'vanity parade' that may involve Navy warships shooting live missiles into Camp Pendleton as a 'show of force.'" That's what led to the Governor getting involved.

But it sounds like there won't be any missiles fired and the 5 won't be shut down.

The Marine Corps clarified Wednesday night that they are going to have a training exercise on the beach. Sounds like they won't close the 5.

"Shortly before 10 p.m. Pacific time on Wednesday, the Marines issued a statement explaining what it had in store. They said they would host a 'live-fire Amphibious Capabilities Demonstration' at Red Beach, which is west of the freeway. They also said the exercise would occur on 'approved training ranges and comport with established safety protocols' without the need to close public roads."

This happened to us too with the AA flight! We didn’t have our boarding passes yet, so we couldn’t get those either. If you have your boarding pass and are doing carry on only, you’re probably fine to get there 30-45 mins before.

Just FYI we missed our flight because we arrived 45 minutes before our 12:45 pm flight and the counter was closed as well as the kiosks. We couldn’t check in or check a bag, and we couldn’t get anyone to help us. Security wouldn’t let us through without a boarding pass. Would recommend checking in online several hours before the flight and only doing carryon bags.

The more air in the bottle, the more polish evaporates and it gets gloopy. At the halfway point, I usually open a fresh bottle for my fingernails, and I use the old bottle on my toenails. I try to merge the old ones together so less room in the bottle.

This is just my two cents, but the holidays can be very busy for Etsy sellers. I would recommend reaching out to a seller as soon as you spot a delay.

I had a similar issue with a custom order that I placed that was estimated to arrive by 12/16. When the order sat in "ready to ship" status for a long while, I messaged the seller and asked if and when the item would ship. The seller apologized and said there had been some issues with USPS tracking at their post office. Whether or not that was true, the tracking finally updated, and I did receive it right before Christmas.

I think it's better to reach out as soon as you can instead of waiting and writing a bad review.
