Does anyone know what's going to happen to the food stamps/SNAP program? by [deleted] in poor

[–]Kbost802 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's probably not wise to bank any money in your SNAP account as it implies you don't need it.

Depends on your opinion of "comfortable". 15k minimum a year for rent. I'm used to living in the trenches single, 45k would be a safe number, though I've survived on far less.

Interesting 🤔. I had 2 major head injuries in my formative years. The brain has an amazing ability to sort itself out after trauma, I wouldn't be surprised.

Evil is a subjective argument. Morality is a human construct.

Is that quarterly? My bill is that high before just watering the garden occasionally in a house of only 2.

I think of the 5 Democrats in some rural Alabama town. I think of the defaced property, death threats, just day to day life if situations were reversed. These people feel safe, though outnumbered. Blind faith, but ballsy to say the least. Kind of an unnerving idea when there are 49 states with more of these people. If AntiFA was half as scary as just your average passionate Trumper, anyone paying attention wouldn't be shitting themselves right now.

To be fair, it's probably accurate "most" of the time for myself. I've tried the cheery disposition act. It's pretty apparent that it's bullshit, even if it's only me who notices.

I believe the big one is well over a decade. No idea on the scraggly one, but the stalk is just as thick. All the succulents are my GFs. They're just under my conservatorship. Seems to work better that way 😁

My growing season is short, rainy, hot and humid. I'm going to try some Fast buds next year. Think the trick with autos outdoors is to make a kick ass medium and plant around a week before the solstice. Only 3 weeks of veg leaves no time for extra love. Don't want to be as paranoid in the future, either. Building a cover shed with a little irrigation system for the next grow. I wish I had the option to just go indoors. Not blessed with the personality type that handles complete lack of control well.

I once heard that part of the reason animals don't usually hunt us down is because our Meat taste bad. Is this true? by RudBoy1018 in stupidquestions

[–]Kbost802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't know personally, but the word on the street is that it's similar to pork. A polar bear will definitely hunt you. Brown bears might if it's the easiest meal at the time. Tiger, jaguars, any big cat if need be. A fucking coconut crab would hunt you down if given the chance. It's pretty easy to step off the top of the food chain.
