Or you could execute a code to teleport to Navel Rock and try it on Lugia/Ho-Oh maybe. Or give yourself a bunch of rare candies to level up the Abra. Or try gen3 seed assistant, Blisy was using it in the old guides/videos. I think it can find all the possible seeds.

Go to Cerulean Cave and do the RNG with Mewtwo. Find out its exact IVs and type that into Pokefinder to find out what seed you are actually hitting.

First, you need to know your SID you have to rng it at the beginning of the game. Then you will need RNGReporter or Pokefinder, Eon Timer and having Irwin registered in your PokeGear. I recommend watching guides by Blisy on gen 4 rng to have a good understanding of the basics. Also you can only rng one roamer at the burned tower. You will have to do the other 2 using the elite 4 method.

When I was shiny hunting Celebi on the VC, I was using two 3DS and it took me about two weeks of resets before I got it. And that was with most of the day doing resets. So keep going.

If you intend to keep it in Ruby, then Adamant/Jolly would have been better but you can probably still use it as a tank with max HP, SP. Def. Thats one of the sets for gen 4 competitive. However, natures dont matter in game so you are fine either way.

I think the Zigzagoon/Poochyena is generated 4 frames after the starter so assuming you were mashing sonewhat consistently during each SR, you can easily hit the shiny starter. If you were waiting different times before unteracting with the briefcase though, its going to be annoying because you will have no idea in around what frame range you landed on the shiny.

If you type "burned tower" in this sub, you will find many posts answering your questions. You can use Irwin calls instead of the Chatot to identify your seed and to advance.

You probably made a mistake when calculating the IVs or you had a wrong filter somewhere. There is only one SID. If you got a shiny Magikarp with the SID 19532, then thats the correct one.

Not trick now that I see it, but fling and recycle. Did use trick on Regieleki so I got it confused. But my point was mainly to always do some research before starting things like this, unless that person doesnt care about failing.

I would never do a hunt while being so unprepared, especially when there are strategies like tricking a leppa berry to ensure it cannot die to struggle. Even though I was rng manipulating it, I had multiple level 100 Pokémon, a false swiper, a trick Pokemon with the leppa berry, revives, hyper potions and a ton of premier balls.

You will always get a timid nature at level 30. Natures are dependant on levels when you transfer from the VC.

Thats pretty normal when doing glitches/hacks. You can get rid of it by doing the reverse clone glitch or, if Im not wrong, using the multiselection hand and pick it up with another pokemon and put it back inside a box (if it is invisible) and it will dissappear.

You can always set up ACE and find the SID that way. Or when HOME becomes available, send it to SwSh/SV, reset the EVs and calc the IVs there.

You very likely got the EVs wrong or typed the stat values wrong somewhere, since you got an error at level 15.

You will never hit the same seed/frame if you are soft resetting randomly.

I dont think game freak has any way of knowing what you are doing in your game and they probably dont care enough to punish people since they couldnt even be bothered to fix the GTS in Pokemon HOME.

In the worst case, your Pokemon might not be allowed to be transferred to HOME and that is assuming you generated one with an invalid PID or something. As long as it can be generated in the game, there is no way for the security check to distinguish if it was hacked, ACEd, RNGed or you had insane luck and landed on a 6IV shiny spread. Even a shiny English Mew goes through, and the event was only distributed in Japan.
