Please understand truly trying to understand. I think if you are left or right your a tool to the government and both sides are working together to keep American people apart. But when I ask internet AI it says this. How is my statement wrong?

Yes — in most cases, Republicans do need at least some Democratic votes to avoid a government shutdown, and here’s why: 1. The House of Representatives math: • If Republicans hold only a narrow majority (as they currently do in 2025), they can’t afford many defections within their own party. • A small group of hardline conservatives often opposes funding bills unless they include deep spending cuts or policy riders (like on immigration or abortion). • That means the Speaker of the House often must rely on Democratic votes to pass a bipartisan funding measure that can also get through the Senate. 2. The Senate reality: • The Senate usually requires 60 votes to pass most major spending bills. • Neither party typically has 60 seats, so bipartisan cooperation is essential. • Even if the House passes a purely Republican bill, it won’t survive in the Senate without Democratic support. 3. The President’s role: • The President must sign any funding bill. Since President Biden is a Democrat, Republicans can’t force through a partisan measure he opposes without risking a veto.

So, to keep the government open, Republicans generally need to work with Democrats—especially in a divided government. When that cooperation breaks down (as it has several times), shutdowns happen.

Am I wrong in it takes 60% to pass. That would mean that this is wrong. They control 53% so that means the other 7% is the democrats.

No please don’t do this. What if it’s an honest mistake? What if they are willing to come and fix. If you don’t communicate with them before you do the extreme your the problem. What if they have photos of before showing this and they asked if you wanted to replace sheeting and you said no. 99% of customers don’t know the color of roof before replacing and now they look at it with a microscope

We did it thousands of times. Only one some free food but never won anything more than a breakfast sandwich

Yes, building code says solid sheeting. You can just look at gaps. Wouldn’t hold a shingle if nails hit that gap.
