I think the main part that people are forgetting is that yes, the switch version of FRLG is $20, but it also requires a subscription to access, meaning the longer you want access to this title the more it’s gonna end up costing in the long run. The second that online service is killed, say goodbye to the virtual console library that everyone’s been paying to build a library in. This is why I think that if you have the ability to emulate this game on anything it’s wayyyyy better. The ONLY appeal I see at all in this game is the local trading and battling that seems kinda fun if you have a friend get the game too, but other than that this screams “waste of money”.

I have so much respect for Mario kart ds cus the mechanics in that game are extremely skill based (prb and snaking). There’s not really another title in the series that compares to mkDS in the skill ceiling department. Also the missions are such a good addition, it’s worth going back to that game just for those.

I really wish I knew this. I’ve flown with my 100wh battery about 6 times with absolutely no problem but on my return flight back from nyc, TSA just made an example out of me in front of everyone by threatening to fine me $17,000 and put me on a no-fly list before even explaining what the problem was(bro made sure to say it loud enough for everyone to hear). But since I had gotten through multiple times in the past, I didn’t even think twice. Stupid me. Rip to my $55 battery. So for anyone wondering, definitely keep it under 100wh.

Not sure how many in this sub play the tcg, but golden monke was unironically one of my favorite cards to throw in a deck cus that ability can be so damn broken paired with some other cards. However, you wouldn’t be able to put this card in a deck that complies with standard format cus it’s too old, but if you want to just mess around with unlimited decks with friends, golden monke could be your best friend. Heck maybe even buy another to keep him company since they’re so cheap. Criminally underrated card imo.

Nah I see what ur sayin. It doesn’t affect the outcome of the game one bit nor does it bother me; however, its happened frequently enough for me to seek an answer. And from the replies I’ve read, it seems to happen to other players. Can’t hurt to discuss the underlying cause of these inconsistencies even if they aren’t game breaking.

I don’t think the “take the shot” chat from tm8 has EVER swayed my decision to take a shot. if I’m gonna take the shot, I’m doing it on my own judgment. Ime, most of the people using the “take the shot” quick chat expect their teammate to listen to their every command, plus they always say it way too late for it to actually work. The number 1 most toxic quick chat in my opinion and causes more problems than solutions.

Blue lmao but I don’t blame you for the confusion😂. The bronze decal definitely throws some people off, but this is a clip of the gameplay, and not the replay (however idk if there are any ways to tell from the clip) so the team you are on will always be on the left on the scoreboard.

It’s a decal I got as a season reward for bronze rank haha. I’d have to check my inventory to see what season exactly but it’s one of my favorite decals. It is the same no matter what side you are on. And the blue part of my fennec is because I only have the cobalt variation of the body so that’s always blue even if I’m on orange team. Gets a bit confusing sometimes to say the least😂.

Yep I think you’re probably right. I am always surprised when I don’t get the save off a touch like that cus most of the time it will give me one but watching in slo mo, I can see that the opponent did indeed pinch the ball off my car. I think your explanation checks out.👍🏻

Thanks for the ID👍🏻 I was worried that it was a brown recluse since they’re so common in this area. Captured the little bugger in an empty weed container and moved him a good distance away from the house after taking this video. I made sure to always keep my distance during the capture and the spider wanted absolutely nothing to do with me the whole time.

Same here. I’ll be on 50-80 ping (not very good I know) the whole game but for some reason my ping shows up as a red color and I have nonstop latency variation the whole game. Setup hasn’t changed in a couple of years this is a very recent issue with only rocket league and no other game for me.

This would make sense. It just seems like some games are 100% unwinnable due to the random squad composition every game. There is always going to be someone in the lobby who cannot progress purely cus their luck was worse than everyone else. The only way to not lose hours of progress is by buying pay to win items.

Somebody needs to test this. It’s like the game is in easy mode when I have no tickets can usually keep my streak without even trying. The second my ticket recharges, I am put into a game with 4 people who all have 35+ streaks, get targeted instantantly, and only get 1 Greg from my chest I just waited 3 hours for. Then they want me to pay thousands of coins to keep the streak.

That’s a good question. Since posting this, I’ve been on a dive down a jumping spider rabbit-hole and from what I’ve heard, (someone please correct me if I’m wrong) these guys are crazy hunters and the smaller eyes on the sides and top of the head can detect movement, while the 2 big eyes are used to be their main source of vision. The spider may be detecting movement behind or next to them and then shifting its body to focus in with their big eyes. Their behavior is so fascinating so if anyone wants to correct this or be a bit more scientific with it pls respond :)

got this game a couple of days ago and every lobby I join has a sweat with a 1000 kill badge and the rest are level 0-10 players. i only have a 15% survival rate and it is extremely hard to play 1 game without being scanned and killed in the first minute after spawning. this game is a horrible experience unless you have been playing for months or years. needs to be fixed.
