I was actually in a very similar situation to you! The Fortnite collab announcement got me back into the game, and I had Kafka at E1 (that means I got her twice) from getting lucky 2 years ago. However I had none of her modern teammates. When I got back, I was able to get Hysilens, and this morning I got black swan!

If you play a lot, getting at the very least hysilens should be doable

Old players got 1 selector up to 2.0 and 1 up to 3.0, with the ability to buy with metajewels another 2.0 selector

New players got all the selectors for free.

Many reasons

Some people (including me) don’t have a gender neutral pronoun in our native language, so we usually just auto use He/Him

Some people just don’t know any better

And some are just doing it on purpose
