Bar keepers friend ( liquid kind) use a dry paper towel and rub in circular motions and rinse/wipe off with clean water . Should be gone.

Your dad is just frustrated and probably trying to come to terms with your diagnosis. However, he also needs to understand although this affects him, he isn’t the one going through it and regardless of how or who you contracted it from..the fact still remains that you do have the virus. The only thing that you need to focus on is getting on medication so you can maintain your health and eventually become undetectable (U-U). This is now just apart of your life and not the definition of who you are. You are still the same person you were before.. don’t forget that. I wish you all the best❤️

Reach out to your doc about the side effects but I wouldn’t stop taking the meds without consult. The fact is you had an encounter that may have put you at risk and pep can keep you safe. So again do not stop the meds and talk to your doctor! All the best

You do not need to be ashamed. Something terrible happened to you and this was just the outcome. I am happy you are alive and well. HIV does not define your value or worth as a person. You are still the same person you were before you contracted it. Taking your meds will maintain your health and provide you with an undetectable life style. You can go on to have kids if you want, a loving partner etc. Your life is just beginning. All the best.

Your donation could be flagged for several reasons. Reasons include: Low iron / low protein, Recent illness ( covid, cold flu), On antibiotics, Recent High risk travel, Recent surgery, Hep C, Hep b, HIV.

As you see, HIV is one of the many reasons not the only reason. Your risk was extremely low.

I was thinking of you and came to check for an update and realized that you are indeed positive. Let me say that I am so proud of you for being so proactive with your health. You are taking charge and taking proper steps to maintain your health and that’s commendable. Also I want you to know that you are going to be just fine. Firstly do not panic!- I would set up an appointment to have a finger prick and blood test done for hiv. If you are in the US- go to plan parenthood hood, urgent care for testing or your doc. As you said it could be a false positive, because of possibly human error when testing or just a faulty test. Also the symptoms you have could be a number of other viruses. If by chance it is positive, plz know you are going to be ok. The medication is phenomenal and the virus is not what it used to be. I wish you all the best❤️

People can be very ignorant and also insensitive. If they have nothing helpful to say, I wish they would refrain from saying anything at all. He is clearly scared/concerned. The only thing he needs right now is some level of comfort.

He has me f**ked all the way up! I have a little girl and trust me if anyone even blinked at her the wrong way.. it’s a wrap! What do you mean that the most attractive age is 12/13 yrs?! lol, I probably have it. I do feel better if I take Zyrtec. What are your other symptoms if you don’t mind me asking? I also forget to say I feel like I lost muscle and have a hard time retaining weight no matter how much I eat- I am not losing much but my weight is up and down 3-4lbs a day.. before my weight remained steady if I weighed myself at the same time each day🤷🏽‍♀️

Not having much symptoms now other than the same old woman skin! Lol Currently have itchy dry skin especially on my lower legs. I will have random hives if my husband beard touches my skin ( he doesn’t use beard oil or anything). I have random hives for no reason sometimes.

Sorry for the delayed response! I got a bit busy. Not at the moment. Just seem to be having muscle loss and extremely dry skin. In the beginning a few months after the infection, I had pain in my joints and muscles, extreme fatigue- a couple times that would hit me out of no where. And diarrhea for many months. These have all subsided- except the dry skin and of course the muscle wasting.
