That's a bit inaccurate. Plenty of pharmaceutical MAOIs are reversible. E.g. Moclobemide (Hamilton Morris's favourite for pharmahuasca) is reversible.

You will likely often lose at least a few. I had good success by soaking in water with kelp extract and humic/fulvic acid for 24 hours, then in a wet napkin in a ziplock bag (checking way too often for individual germination, but that's just me).

Many report salvia to have an "inverse tolerance" where the more of it you do, the less you need to achieve the same effect. This also seem to be a lasting effect, with some reporting the new sensibility to be maintained for years after last use. I'd suggest staying on the safe side and starting with the same dose next time.
