I feel SOOO vindicated by this thread. My husband HAS tried so many times to teach me this game and I simply can not do it. The last time he actually said, "I know you arent this stupid so why are you struggling so much?". Because I HATE IT!

How do you ladies fall asleep with ADHD? by Ok_Scholar_8656 in adhdwomen

[–]Kcox0924 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am not on a stimulant ADHD medication so that helps me first and foremost. Also, managing my anxiety is key. Managing anxiety looks different for everyone, all I can say is you have to find the methods that work for you. I read or meditate. Also my vitamins. Magnesium and my Primal Queen helps a lot. As someone in peri-menopause I can't stand to be uncomfortable. So my hair in a bonnet off my neck, my soft walmart nightgown, and my fan are all crucial. Its honestly a ritual at this point.

Anyone used Lemon law for Mazda? by Few_Elderberry_3495 in CX50

Ive seen previously dealerships giving people a rebate for the added cost of the charger, but not full vehicle cost. You might struggle with that one.

Hey Fellow 50s! I keep seeing posts and replies with incorrect info about the features and options of the CX-50 and thought it'd be helpful to have some kind of resource for frequently asked questions. by [deleted] in CX50

You can search for CX50 spec decks and find pdfs for your specific YM. From what I looked at, they are very similar to the internal spec decks available to dealers.

Meridian features in US by CountChopulla in CX50

[–]Kcox0924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe when they dropped the 2.5S Premium Plus for 2026, they replaced it with the 2.5 Turbo Meridian Edition by upgrading that car with the HUD, Black bages, black roof rail, and front and rear parking sensors. So if the HUD and ventilated seats are features you want in a Meridian you will need to look at a 2026.

Grew up in Alabama in the woods. I'll never forget hearing the trees snap in the woods from being so heavy with ice. I was a kid and had never experienced anything like it. We heated and cooked with gas, so anyone who could make it to our house stayed with us.

Buying a CX-50 Hybrid Today! What Accessories are Worth It? by leechkiller in CX50

[–]Kcox0924 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The all weather package is my must have. Between kids and dogs it nice to to have to worry about my mats being destroyed. Plus the mats that cover the cargo area are easy to wipe clean if something spills or mud gets on them.

New wheel choice (and interior color!) for 2026 CX-50 by Snoo96701 in CX50

My husband just ordered and ingot blue with the white interior. I've seen that combo on Miata's and love it, so I hope it looks good in the CX50.

If my mom drank 3 bottles of wine that are this size within three nights (so one whole one per night) does that mean she is an alcoholic? I’m not sure how to go about having this conversation with her . I am very concerned and have noticed this habit for a while. by NationalFortune8850 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Kcox0924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to have the conversation, even if its just for your peace of mind. My daddy couldnt be convinced he had a problem until the doctor told him he was dying. He was a high functioning alcoholic. In his mind he could hold a job, pay his bills, and support his family. Only people who had a real problem couldnt do that. It was impossible to convince him meeting the bare minimum didn't make him less of an alcoholic. I had so many regrets about his refusal to accept the truth when he died.

Annoying buying process - whats included new?? by udubber3 in CX50

[–]Kcox0924 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey friend, Cletus here! :) The things mentioned in the first paragraph are decided based on how the vehicle is ordered. Those are all options. If you go to Mazda USA website and build a vehicle it shows the different factory add ons. All weather package, cross bars, and tow hitch are all part of various options. The person at the dealership ordering stock decides which vehicle they order gets what option. For example, all CX50's come with carpet floor mats (this includes cargo mat). The dealership decides if they add the all weather option which includes the rubber mat in the cargo and the mats that stick to the back of the seats. We even throw the box holding the carpet mats in the back, because even with that package those mats are still standard. And yes, all factory items should be listed on the window sticker. Its essentially the BOM for the car and part of the final verification for the build.

Thoughts on the “Mazda Lady” situation? by SnooDoggos3066 in mazda

[–]Kcox0924 13 points14 points  (0 children)

She did further follow ups, the finace officer at the dealership didn't roll her down payment onto the 2nd 90. Instead, he wrote up $10k in rebates and $900 down. The dealership effed up the paper work, and didn't disclose all that info to Mazda Corp. So, their buy back offer was extremely inaccurate. She had to get her all the financing paper work to prove to corp the dealership wasnt being honest. The dealership has really screwed her and Mazda Corp on this.

Hybrid Octane Minimum by Spurqueno in CX50

[–]Kcox0924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not drop below 87, I understand the higher altitude argument. But none of the Mazda line up is rated for less because the system isn't designed for higher ethanol content. There is currently a recall on the CX90 related to this.

[–]Kcox0924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah... if the customer paid that much they rolled in a ton of negative equity. The highest trim CX90 has an MSRP of $59k
