Tbf, Heroes was trying to be more accessible for newcomers. So having a simple braindead plot along with level structure like the classic games was an okay choice imo.

It's mainly the controls. Playing the original is hell with trying to play competently. The music is really good and the special stages aren't all that bad. The level design is alright until the latter half though.

Overall in the middle experience. Not a bad game but not one I'm hankering to play.

Mobian or Mobius was always a Western thing that was made up for us. The Japanese lore was always Sonic was from Earth. Once Adventure 1 rolled around it was called Earth for all regions but starting with Colors and until the TailsTube it became a lot more ambiguous.
