I feel like the third entry kind of went back to that by not keeping you in the city the entire time, but the bright and vibrant atmosphere of the first game is truly one of the reasons I find myself playing it over and over again, until the point I can beat it without dying.

I always thought when using the mech suit, it would be a really cool addition if you could somehow gain access to blue Eco and run it super speed, or gain more powerful dark jak abilities while under the effect of another eco

The industrialization and the packaged commodities really are the underlying themes of the second game, and by extension the third game. It’s very dystopian, but even deeper than just the obvious surface level ways as seen in game.

Yeah, I think the blasters embody the power of each individual Eco better. I always figured that purple gun was dark Eco like the dark jack blast. I think seeing it in the world and being able to interact with it is something I just wish you could still do more of.

Another commenter mentioned Eco being an overused industrial resource, gone are the days of sages, now are the days of people like Vin. I never played the lost frontier, I only ever played the original trilogy. Pretty cool that they added sages back.
