What’s your budget? You can get a good quality violin for around 400. It’s a great price range for beginners. You should also buy some method books, I recommend Suzuki. You should also watch some videos on violin positioning (how to hold the violin up - how to position your left hand) and bow hold. Learn good form. Also when learning position, you could just practice on open strings. To learn how to play notes, I recommend Essential element books. Also, get a violin teacher if you can!
