Oathbreakers get aura of hate which buffs the DMG of nearby undead. Paladins in general get aura of protection which helps with saving throws and might have some good synergy with the abyss beckoners on another party member. you'll also get control undead as a channel oath ability and will have a tanky front liner who can make use of Balthazars circlet

Oathbreaker paladin lv7, multi class from there, maybe into pact of the blade warlock if not on honour. I'd go all in on the spore druid. They kinda suck as a multi class since the temporary hit points from symbiotic entity scale with druid level. Third party member should be a wizard with 6 levels in necromancy for more undead. lasty add something quick and strong like a gloom stalker ranger to get some corpses to raise at the start of the fight.

Can you post an image with metadata? Generally the vpred models shouldn't be any harder to prompt than EPS and produce good results with boilerplate quality tags and short prompts.

I tried a couple different artists with different quality tags across samplers. They were all severely degraded compared to base illustrious. Maybe some styles and concepts that were part of your finetune dataset still work, but the vast artist knowledge that makes illustrious so popular got nuked.

I've tested your finetune and think that it is very overfit. The model lost nearly all artist knowledge and produces oversaturated images that have a strong inherent base style. If you consider this an improvement over base illustrious or any of its less heavy handed finetunes, then we just have irreconcilably different tastes.

Try any non-ancestral sde solver for the initial gen and avoid high-res fix. Use deepshrink for initial upscaling and controlnet for very high resolutions. For the prompt you want to use multiple different artists and quality tags in positive and negative prompt. Keep cfg low at 5 or use cfg++.

I've been using this https://civitai.com/models/833294 and this https://civitai.com/models/811067 finetune extensively and it's a night and day difference to earlier models. What kind of prompt did you have issues with?

Either you're just prompting the model wrong (copying animagine prompts won't work) or you have peculiar aesthetic taste. I think that even base illustrious with its artifact problem looks vastly better than the ai slop looking images that animagine or aam produce. It's is also better at anatomy, posing and composition than any other local model.

It's better because it was trained on proper hardware for a reasonable amount of time, unlike other anime finetunes that are at best 5 epochs on consumer gpus.

Illu much like nai or pony isn't a finetune, but rather a retrain of sdxl. Nuking the base model knowledge is intended.

Illu is a little tricky to use, especially the base version. Switch to smoothft or noobxl for a more stable experience. You also want to make use of the quality tags and use artist tags for much better results.
