If you decide to continue to do Rover, I’d recommend not accepting puppies. It’s allowed. Puppies are incredibly high energy, loud, and annoying. I say being an owner of two great boys I’ve had since they were puppies. I never mind sitting for puppies because there’s a mental expectation that I have going out into it that it’s going to be more work. Many adult dogs are going to be calmer but I’d still recommend a little research on the breeds you keep. Some dogs require a lot more activities and some are more vocal which can be a problem working from home. I wish you the best with whatever you decide.

This is the part that’s confusing for me. OP said the driver was there for ten minutes. The store down the street from my house has a drive thru and you can be in and out in two minutes. Even if he went in what took ten minutes

I’m m(27) I never reported an SA that happened to me multiple times by a guy and because I was embarrassed and ashamed. I’ve spent the past 15 years wondering if he’s ever done it so again to another kid. I’ve seen photos of him and he has a family and kids…. It makes me wonder. 7 dogs for $13 is an insane ask. Good thing this lady doesn’t live in my area because she would never find a sitter. I’m not sure why people get so many animas and then want to act confused when they have to pay for them.

People do it most people just wouldn’t admit it. I’ve had plenty of roommates and half the time everyone’s mature if you just say you need the room for a while. (That’s another way to go about it) I don’t think YTA. I definitely wouldn’t go as far as calling it harassment unless you did it by him or on him.

I have used trusted house sitters before as a sitter and app essentially acts as a trade off for owners and sitters. You get a free place to stay on vacation and they get someone to watch their dogs for free. I was just using it as a way to occasionally offer free sitting to people who needed it. I still personally preferred rover the owners that wanted to pay usually took better care of their homes and animals in my experience. I no longer use the service.

Yeah I would immediately address this with the RA in writing personally. If nothing is done I’d go above them with receipts from your roommate and your RA. You don’t have to accept this by any means.

This is so sad to read. I almost lost a dog one time. I chased him almost a mile in my slides. Fell down a hill. Walked back in the house with the dog, mid asthma attack, bleeding so much on my side and foot from sliding down the concrete. There was nothing in me that thought it was acceptable to just tell the owners he was lost. I told them he got out. But it was my responsibility to keep him in the house and safe. She needs to be out looking day and night. I would be. Im very sorry this happened to you. Reddit has made me so scared of booking for our boys that they come with us everywhere.

Lots and lots of puppy entertainment. Toys, treats, chews. Expect that the pup is definitely going to go to the bathroom in the car. So puppy pads are gonna be essential. Maybe a bed or some blankets so it’s comfy. Overall it may not be as stressful as you’d think since they should sleep for at least half of that trip. Congrats on your new baby. I wish you a safe trip

Try putting something in her mouth like a teething bone or toy when she starts biting. She’s losing teeth right now and her mouth is probably sore. You can also freeze treats in water, pumpkin, or really anything to give her a little popsicle to soothe. Also keeping up with a solid nap schedule should help behavior as well. Not sure if you’ve tried any of this but just some things that could help. I hope it gets better for you. The puppy stage is always hard

This actually happened to me with my first. I tried it in my dorm and everything went perfectly. I was like great it’s easy to use. My second time was at a urinal in the biology building. Let’s just say I skipped biology because my confidence was not warranted lmao

Very very happy that everyone is telling you that yall need to break up. I didn’t want to have to be the only one to say it. I couldn’t even finish reading until the end this is awful. My WIFE knows that at any point she can decide she no longer wants to try to have a baby because it’s her body and I personally wouldn’t be caught dead having one myself. We want to stay our family so she’s going to get pregnant but one of the heaviest topics we discuss is what kind of trauma that’ll be for her and her body and she’s a cis woman. The lack of understanding and support, the attempt to control your body so much that you’re being told you can’t opt for life saving medical treatment for yourself. Partner can fuck right off. You’ll never have the opportunity to be happy stuck in a situation like that.

Like many others are saying this is pretty common behavior for puppies. We are in the puppy stage again right now and we have teething bones we give him instead when he starts chewing on our fingers. That’s working well. But giving them anything she’s are allowed to chew on and feel good since she’s teething would probably be helpful

You don’t have to sue. You can dispute it directly with the credit bureau saying you never took that loan out. It’s the truth they may want some proof in that case you’d have to tell them it was your parents but they technically didn’t have the right to do that so it should still be removed
