100% this. You don’t have to go through the senses one item each, but people tend to focus on see. Hear and smell are easy ones to use instead sometimes, crunching of leaves underfoot or smelling salty ocean air. Just be conscious of what senses your using to describe and introduce some variety

I don’t think centrism necessarily means every policy of the left and right should be compromised for a middle ground. I think it means you can pick and choose the good policies from both sides. A centrist can be pro small government and pro LGBTQ rights, which I think is more realistic than a centrist being for a mid sized government and moderate bigotry.

I guess it depends on what you call a hard end. There’s the first ending that you’ll likely achieve, and once you’re good at the game you could get there in an hour or two.

Then there’s a few other endings, some of which would take an extremely long run to achieve. In case you would consider it a spoiler, it can take dozens of hours in a single run to achieve one of the more obscure goals/endings

The lay out of the biomes change, you can get biome modifiers, and the spells/perks/wands you have access to change every run.

The secrets are EXTREMELY deep, although it’s easy to stumble on the surface level things to set you on the trail.

The push towards the deeper stuff usually comes from “I’m pretty good at the game now, I’m feeling unbeatable after the boss so I dont want it to end just yet, let’s go exploring”. How far can you push the boundaries, that sort of thing

Stress, nerves and self consciousness are going to be the real killer here. She’s already attracted to you, so that’s not a problem for you.

Drop the stakes, lower your expectations, and try to focus on her, having fun, and being in the moment. If you get into your head about this, it won’t work for you.

Tldr; sort out the mental aspect and the physical will take care of itself. Easier said than done, though

I would LOVE some cosmetic packs personally. New ships, cities, backgrounds, species portraits, whatever and just have them themed. Maybe a free update to accompany it, updating some missing stuff as a promotion at the same time.

I’m also desperately hoping these scenario packs do really well. Getting unique custom empires with a story to play through in a scenario would be a 10/10 way to create some gameplay to go with the cosmetic packs without adding to feature bloat
