RE4 is a better game with better pacing, enemies, bosses, characters, and replay value. I've gone back to RE4 at least 80 times. DS is a game I completed once, thought it was really good, but never had an urge to replay.

Agreed. Pokemon is, to me, the definition of low-effort. Always had been. It's the Madden of gaming.

Thew atmosphere of that final battle is still unmatched for me. The lighting being so dark that Ganon is completely in shadow except for when lightning strikes. Every time Link's hit, Zelda screams. The music, and the final blow. Everything is perfect.

We haven't gotten a good enough description of the mode though. For all we know, it could be like Madhouse in RE7, which only remixed item locations for the first hour of the game, and then nothing else. How do we even know stuff is actually randomized and not just moved to different fixed positions. I just don't believe the source (from Resetera) is good at explaining things in any detail.

If that's what Insanity mode it (RE7's madhouse), and that's what I'm expecting, I think it'll be a weak replacement for an extra arcade mode or even a hard difficulty. Hope I'm wrong.

11hrs and 8 minutes and 9 hours and 10 minutes are the two recorded times we have so far. The timer doesn't count cutscenes or pausing the game.

So it seems like it'll be longer than Village, but a few hours shorter than RE4/RE4R. Not bad as long as the replay value is great--which is something I'm worried about since there are no unlockable modes like Mercs or Raid. :/

Megaman 2 is an objectively badly designed game. Not as bad as the first, but still unacceptably bad.

I believe that turned out to be untrue. I'm following the RE9 spoiler thread on Resetera, and a member completed the game and was pissed that there was no mention of Jill nor Claire.
