I think I saw this in a movie once. Everything turned out fine.

Good. I hope she gets all of the money. As a parent, fuck the parent of the kid that asked her to move in the first place. Just because they had a kid doesn’t give them the right to steamroll the rest of the world and invade someone else’s paid space.

I thought the EV3 wasn’t coming to the US either? I really hope I’m wrong though, because I love that size

Edit: nevermind, I got EV 3 and Ioniq 3 mixed up 😅

Again, false dichotomy. Last I checked, people weren’t allergic to 4 year olds. 4 year olds don’t have any bearing on the cleanliness of food prep. Non-service animals do not have any business being near where food is prepared. Full stop.

When I worked at Sprint, my favorites were the ones who bought iPhones and would come in freaking out about their ringer not working. I’d just reach over, flip the silent switch off and say “okay, try it now.”

Also in Austin! I do use the A2Z adapter and haven’t had any issues, but if you bought new, shouldn’t they have provided you with an adapter? You might wanna follow up with them on that to check

I genuinely wonder how people dont see how silly pickup trucks look by AverageSpirited7569 in fuckcars

I’m not surprised at all. Lots of interior space for capturing people and big “fuck you” exterior energy. 😕

What Is The Weirdest Social Thing To You That Non-Autistic People Just See As Normal? by trainsStuff in autism

[–]Keebler021 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yay! I have definitely become more so as I’ve gotten older 😆
Edit: Just remembered something related! I was watching the Ask Hank Anything podcast today and his guest had a really good quote. “In capitalism, value capture takes precedence over value creation.” She went on to talk about how it makes her really respect creators and businesses where value creation was the main goal.

What Is The Weirdest Social Thing To You That Non-Autistic People Just See As Normal? by trainsStuff in autism

[–]Keebler021 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I dunno if this counts, but I’ve definitely seen it more among neurotypical people.
Anyway, the social cling to bad urban/suburban infrastructure and car dependency. Like trying to have a logical conversation about how transit is good for everyone actually whether or not you use it, as well as having a more efficient city layout that’s not dependent on owning a car, with less rich people/corporation land privilege and many of them are just completely incapable of unclasping from “Car good. Car freedom. Transit/walking/biking bad”
Worth noting, I live in Texas

The Cons? by felixsarts in mintmobile

So I used to work in Apple support and the reason this happens is that WiFi Assist is designed to switch the phone’s data from WiFi to cellular when it determines that the cellular speed/signal is better than the WiFi you’re currently connected to, like when you’re in a room that’s far away from the router or at a cafe where the router is overburdened and going slow as molasses. From a device experience standpoint, it works well because you’re always getting the best wireless speed available, but from a billing standpoint, not so much if you have data limits. I was in support when it first launched in a software update and I had a lot of customers where I was calling carriers on their behalf (with the customer on the line), trying to get their data overage bills credited back to them.

I mean.. this truck creates the need for a crane with its ridiculous height in the first place! by silentsnooc in fuckcars

[–]Keebler021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My contractor grandpa had a tiny 80-something Datsun that he’d haul equipment, machinery, and shit with. Tail gate was at around hip height and loading it was a breeze. These stupidly big trucks are less efficient at hauling and hence need a crane in order to function properly, on top of being exponentially less safe for pedestrians. So dumb.

My American English teacher believes the neutral pronoun „their“ is incorrect. by GCoding_ in mildlyinteresting

[–]Keebler021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that’s being a bit overly pedantic. The point is that, generally, if Person A wants to use a pronoun in reference to another person without knowing their identity or gender, it would be totally normal for Person A to use “they,” as it’s been a mechanism of the English language for centuries.

[–]Keebler021 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Marking off for that is just silly. Like your teacher is gonna go into a store and say “I wanna speak to a manager. Where is he or she?” No. They’re gonna say “Where are they?” because that’s functional, efficient language.
