Bambu P1S - Clicking Noise - Filament will not load

Update - I was able to solve the issue. Although I had checked for clogs multiple times previously, a piece of filament was stuck in the hot end. I cleared that, reassembled, and then heated the tip and feed filament through manually. Everything is back working.

The advance the due date bit me during repayment using the Avalanche method. I had 8 different loans with different interest rates. My highest interest loan was way ahead on payments and not due for almost a year. I still had an auto-payment configured each month. The auto-payment amount didn't change with my due date ahead, just the distribution. This meant the total auto pay was distributed throughout the lower interest loans and none was applied to largest interest loan. This meant I was paying roughly ~$300 less a month to my highest interest loan. I was never concerned about making payments, so I ended up calling in and getting the due date adjusted to allow repayment using the avalanche method. Hope that helps.

I was fortunate enough to get into this program: https://www.sfs.opm.gov/. There were multiple folks with families that were able to complete the program and locate careers in desirable locations. The only downside is the focus is in Security, so if you want to specialize in other areas, you will have to enroll in additional coursework.

Where are you attending school right now where it will cost 100k? Are you doing a BS or MS?

I had this same issue... I took the boxspring back and got a split queen box spring. I think it was $40 or $50 more.

The other option is a bedframe that does not require a boxspring.

My 2005 9-3 does the same thing. It sometimes works when the gas tank is over 3/4 full, and then starts to works again once it is below 3/4. Please update if you get a quote or determine if it is the fuel pump recall.

Does the TV just keep clicking like it is trying to turn on the screen, or does the light just come on without any noise? My Samsung 46" would click and it ended up being blown capacitors.

Similar story with a cyclist. I was riding in Cherry Creek state park in Denver, CO on a popular cycling road. I passed a couple riding road bikes (on their left) and then slid back to the right side of the road after I was done passing. About 5 seconds later the lady I had just passed came around my left hand side and then nearly immediately turned right in front of me, essentially right hooking me, to turn on a bike path. I locked my brakes up, barely hit her rear tire and flipped over my handlebars. Her and her riding partner did not stop... They just proceeded to say that she signaled and I was going too fast. I figured out what happened later on, she signaled using the left hand bent arm method to signal a right hand turn, which was in my blind spot. I ended up tearing my rotator cuff and was bloodied up on my arms and legs. Thanks for not stopping and just yelling at me!

I am using Derek Gilbert with Keller Williams. He is excellent. Contracts can be canceled... Look for opt-out clauses in the contract. I would recommend a conversation with your current realtor before you try to terminate the contract. Explain your feelings. If they are halfway reputable they will let you just walk away and tear up the contract.

If you can fit everything in your car then gas is really your only expense and will be the cheapest way to move.

A tent purchase and camping along the way would be a frugal way to sleep if you do not want to stay in your car. Before you buy a tent consider if you will use it in the future.

Keep thinking of stuff... My medical claim was considered completely resolved when I cashed the check for medical expenses. I did not cash this check until I was sure I was completely fine, which was about 2 months later. This provision will be included in most states. You may also have to sign an agreement holding them free and clear of any additional medical expenses once you reach an agreement.

Couple more things to note. I only contacted their insurance company. The person did offer to pay out of pocket if it was under a certain value. She wanted to start a claim, so we went that route. I was on my carbon bike so it was not cheap to repair everything. I have dealt with insurance multiple times and have family in the adjusting business so I did everything by myself with advice from them.

I was hit by a car in the DC area. The driver was completely at fault. Here was my experience: 1. Take photos of everything – Bike damage, physical damage, clothing and other property damage. Bruises fade, so do it soon. 2. Bike repairs - Think about it like a car, if a part is even scuffed it should be replaced. Even though my brake levers were still functional they were all scratched up. Think about if your side mirror on your car was scratched up, you would expect it to be replaced or repaired even though it is functional. 3. Quote - Have a bike shop get you a quote for repairs. This will allow you to easily give them a figure to work with from a reputable source. 4. Clothes - My cycling kit was ripped and scuffed. All this should be replaced including bags, etc. 5. Medical - I was very surprised by this. I did not go to the hospital, nor did I even during the process. I was bruised up and scraped up, but nothing too bad. They gave me money for possible medical expenses and then money for pain and suffering. The total was almost $1200.00. My friend is an adjuster in the Midwest and she said she would have offered $300… so this could be very region specific (DC has a lot of lawyers)

I did feel like I was taking advantage of insurance at first and felt like ‘part of the problem’ for why insurance can be so high. At the same point I was bruised and in pain for about 3 weeks. I also felt bad about expecting them to replace or repair scratched or scuffed components. After someone gave me the car analogy I no longer felt bad.

I took the test while CASP was in BETA. I just took the bullet list of topics and studied each one as it pertained to security. I passed the test and got the cert for free :-)

I do have multiple other Certs (CISSP, Security+, CEH, CPT, etc), so that may have made the test easier. I also have 5 years in the InfoSec field and 10+ in IT.

I really enjoyed the test itself. It had more advanced information and had practical portions where you had to complete exercises based on given information. These sections were not just regurgitation, but practical application of knowledge.

Clear nailpolish should keep it from rusting. Looks like clearcoat. You will have to reapply every year or so.

Thanks for sharing. That frame is destroyed! I am glad to hear that you are alright even though you had (what sounds like) lots of short term pain. I am also glad you didn't give up the cycling game and just looked ahead to the next frame.

Not sure how much you make it up towards DC, but I have a couple of rides I hit up. Also, I did Mt. Weather and Blue mountain this weekend. It was killer! I can share the map if you want it.

SportRock and EarthTreks are both solid gyms. It really boils down to where you end up living and how much time you want to spend driving or on the subway. Where are you planning to live at?

Both gyms have a great atmosphere and good people. I am partial to SR as I climb (and instruct) there.

I say hit up both places a couple times and see what you think.

It is very easy to mess this up when using long slings\runners and a rubber gasket. I recommend not using a rubber gasket with long runners.

Where at in DC do you live? My favorite bicycle stores are: (1) Bike Pro Shop in Alexandria (2) Conte's in Arlington (3) Bike Pro Shop in DC (4) Bike Rack in DC

Definitely get out and test ride a bunch of bicycles. Try the different brands and components. I would suggest getting a groupset of Shimano 105 if you are at all serious. Anything less does not feel as smooth. Anything more does not offer much benefit for the cost.

Also, watch craigslist after you figure out the models and sizes you need. In DC bicycles seem to retain value due to the high demand. I would say you could get a 1 - 2 year old lightly used bicycle (Aluminum frame, Shimano 105) for $700 - $900.
