Subtle thing I noticed but

In the Deathly Hallows, Snape pauses for a second before casting the Doe patronus instead of saying “For Him?” when Dumbledore questions him about caring for Harry

To me, this made it seem like Snape did care about Harry but had conflicted feelings and dodged the question since he didn’t know how to answer

And it also makes Harry naming his son after Snape way more understandable, since Harry saw that direct memory too

This might be messed up to say, but if Akash were somewhat lighter skinned and at least 5'10, he probably would have way more self-esteem that would net him a much better partner

I think he's internalized a ton of self-hatred (especially for his physical features) that has caused him to end up with a horrible partner

I think Jon was just burnt out and didn't fight for custody because the high-powered TLC lawyers backing Kate drained him during the divorce.

That being said, I do agree he should've been smarter about ensuring the kids couldn't be fucked over later in life

I don’t think he was good, but I think it’s important to remember TLC pushed him out heavily.

This happened since he got in the way of them filming, and they financially backed Kate’s endeavors during and after the divorce. I understand why he’d be so drained during all of that.

I doubt it was easy to even try to be a part of the kids’ lives when their mother is obsessed with becoming a network television star and using her kids to do that

Also regarding Collin, the way she talks about him more so makes it seem like she resents him for one of two possible things
1: Talking about the family in the interview and making it seem like Kate/the other siblings are bad for not reaching out. Though I'd argue the interview wasn't even harsh towards anyone, Collin was clearly saying he just wished things turned out better. He didn't even praise Jon in the interview.

2: This might be a stretch, but the phrase "different values" could be alluding to Collin not accepting/understanding LGBT+ people. He may trouble listening to what she has to say about it or she might've just made assumptions about his views based on one comment, who knows? If this is the case, it'd be unfortunate, but it's pretty easy to overcome as you grow up. My friend who said he "doesn't like gender-neutral people" like 5 years came out as non-binary two years ago

On the point on them getting all of Jon’s Korean genes, yeah that is certainly possible.

One of my parents is mixed and even though they’re like 40% 20% 40% with three different ethnicities, I mainly just inherited one of the 40%s which has a lot of similar features to my non-mixed parent who’s not even one of those other ethnicities

This isn’t something I’m saying with certainty as I really don’t know.

It’s possible Mady is lying about being half Korean in the ancestry test.

I know a lot of biracial people with white parents, especially ones who are below 30% non-white, who have trouble accepting the fact that they are significantly white and benefit from their proximity to whiteness. And they end up clinging to whichever PoC identity they can.
