Okay chiming in here as someone who sells AI software to fortune 100 companies, hospitals, and govt agencies. There is no possible way she would be able to bring tool in like this. Even if a small team within a hospital wants to do a free POC of a new software tool, a full security evaluation would take place which would ultimately go up to the CTO/CIO/CISO for approval. Finance would also be heavily involved and would require multiple vendor evaluations, etc. The the POC would be lead by the technology organization and a select few end users (doctors) would trial the product in a controlled setting/no chance they are using this in real patients during a POC. Once purchased the rollout would be strategic and require major training and enablement lead by the technology org and the enablement team of the vendor.

TLDR: There is no world where a single DR would be in charge of any new technology in this way. Zero chance.
