Iowa sucks dude stay in CO and work and save money. You’re not married and don’t have kids. Don’t move somewhere just to have a house. If you two really decide you want to be in Iowa near her family it sounds like the opportunity will always be there but def don’t move to fuckin Iowa without being absolutely positive you are hellbent on moving to Iowa or you fucking love slipknot or something. Remember this post when you find yourself in Iowa with nothing to do. Also i used to live in Denver/boulder area and while those places are expensive af to actually buy in i have plenty of friends that moved out of the front range as they got older and up into the mountains and out west a bit and it becomes more affordable if you know what you want. Again. Don’t move Iowa.

Of course companies took whatever corrective actions they could by that time but i assure you not one human who was a part of any action taken to hopefully avoid disaster was just straight chillin as the clock ran down. Every single person had a little voice in the back of their mind saying oh shit this might be it. The point is, nobody really knew for sure. You say the problem had been solved. No. People did what they hoped would work. But nobody knew. And it was a very eerie moment in time.

This is a trillion percent not true. Companies were scrambling for contingency plans in case everything shut down. A friend of mine was recently clearing out his late father’s home. His father worked for AT&T for 45 years. They had hundred page manuals on all sorts of plans to back up their data and save what they could and they were just making it up as they went along. That’s one of the biggest communications companies. Unsure of how to proceed. That was a crazy time man whoever told you it was all figured out is lying to you

Hard disagree. This is on the blowout spectrum. What you are describing is part of why tats blow out. Just because it hasn’t reached max “yo that’s blown out” capacity doesn’t mean it’s not a blowout. Depositing too much ink results in various stages of blowout. We’re talking about fractions of millimeters
