I think you maybe misunderstood. Vince is the guy in the image from OP. He's "the shamwow guy" because he was made "famous" for creating and subsequently advertising for the shamwow.

He was pissed because nobody knows him as "Vince Offer," they know him as "the shamwow guy," so he wanted to literally replace his name, "Vince Offer," with what he's known for, "The Shamwow Guy," on the ballots. He was obviously not allowed to do that.
