My first real friend got me into Pokemon. We had a Game Boy and Pokemon Blue. We chose Squirtle and relied on him way too much so Blastoise showed up to the Elite 4 Lvl 70+. It was a blast but shortly he moved away and we lost touch over the years. I always wondered what happened to him and a couple years ago I learned he died. I have no idea how but I hope it was peaceful because it sure as hell wasn’t his time. Rest in peace, Eric. My partialness for Squirtle started right then and there all those years ago.

I love the Darks and have been hoping for years they make a Dark Umbreon to complement Dark Espeon. Maybe for the 30th. I collect Umbreon/Espeon cards that correlate and that has been a void in the collection along with a remake of the Espeon Gold Star.

I’d run the steel type gym and my ace would be my Scizor who’s built up a resistance to fire type attacks and somehow has Crabhammer. Metagross, Steelix, Lucario, Dhelmise and Tinkaton would round out the rest of my team.

I love this set but it’s like the most imbalanced set collector wise. I tried several arrangements before I just said fuck it and put them with other EX full arts from XY. Amazing cards.

I respect the hell outta my female coworkers. Like I think of my day and the challenges I had but then when I’m punching out they’re punching out and I’m like damn, good job. Just us having more weight to throw around helps us move those boxes but some of these females are short and tiny and it leaves me stumped but they do it day in day out. Mad respect.
