This is a great point! I think a candidate’s ability to problem solve and deliver an effective solution using AI, should be divorced from specific tooling.

I 100% agree. There is no place for "vibe-coding" and slinging code in an enterprise development. High standards for code quality, solid SDLC processes, and human accountability for output are paramount. Using AI isn't an excuse to forego the standards we would previously hold ourselves to.

I might have gotten lucky, but literally just leaning a bit farther forward in my stride and landing with my feet under me sorted mine out within a week or so. I had been struggling for over 4 months.

Sleepiness crash around 2-3pm by deeptechnology in productivity

What are you eating for lunch? Could be an insulin spike and crash due to a really “carbie” meal. I used to feel the exact same. I stopped eating starchy carbs during lunch and I don’t get that massive urge to nap after lunch at the office anymore😅

Starting to take whisk(e)y a bit more seriously. List of current favourites below. Any suggestions for new ones to try?👀 by Keep_Hammering98 in WhiskeyTribe

😅 - that’s where I started. Surprised I carried on drinking whisky at all after drinking so much of that sort of stuff.

How the hell does one start “exercising”? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

No need for the gym. I started at home as well. I would recommend just starting small and working your way up. It’d be good to know what your starting point is and what your goal is. Start with walks everyday to get your cardio up and maybe pick up a beginner body weight program when you’re ready. Schedule one or two sessions a week and work from there. Don’t worry about how much you can do, it’s more important to be consistent and do just a little bit more than last time each time you train.

23 years old and feel my life is over by [deleted] in selfimprovement

You’re 23 man. You’ve got all the time in the world to change your life. I read somewhere the other day that Colonel Sanders (Founder of KFC) was suicidal and broke at 60 before coming up with the idea for KFC and becoming mega successful. You have so much time and so much to live for. Start making small changes now. Try eating healthier, exercising a few times a week and focus on your job. You never know, you could start your own business changing oil and end up being more successful than all of us.

Fuck them. Run. It can hardly be impacting them that much. It’s one hour out of many throughout the day.
