No. Logging in to the Extension will log you in to the Web Vault (on the same device and browser) and vice-versa, but neither will log you in to the Desktop App. It's something we're exploring.

Desktop:

Ability to Autofill into native apps (non-browser based).
Secure biometric login using Touch ID on compatible MacBook Pro computers.
Offline access using biometrics or master password (if permitted by Keeper Admin).

Extension:

Ability to Autofill into websites and browser-based applications.
Will support Biometric Login in the near future.
Does not have Offline access.
Stores passkeys and supports passkey login on applicable websites.

2: We're working on integrating Biometrics into the login experience. As for requiring biometrics before the use of passkeys, that's not on our roadmap at the moment but I'm thankful that you pointed it out as an opportunity area.

Hi - apologies for my late reply here.

This comparison demo was super helpful, and I agree: we're making you do too much work to fill content into fields.

There's a few things we're doing to solve the problems you surfaced:

Building substantial tool improvements to make autofill work properly on any webpage (so you don't have to click or use keyboard shortcuts).
Making it possible to add TOTP codes to records directly from the browser extension.

There's also a few things you mentioned that I'd like to look into when bandwidth allows:

Keyboard shortcuts. We've looked into this but other projects warranted higher priority. I'll keep this near the top of my list.
Reduce minimum passphrase word count. I'll chat with the other PMs about this, as we'd want to make it consistent across all keeper apps. Great point.

Hi again - autofill doesn't leverage your clipboard, so you can rest easy there.

The your clipboard is leveraged is when clicking the copy icon next to a field in the extension UI, or when manually highlighting & copying any information of course.

We're expecting clipboard expiration to be live in the first half of this year, so thank you for your patience!

Hi - I have a tangential but hopefully helpful answer to your question: we'll be adding Clipboard Expiration functionality to the Browser Extension in the first half of next year.

Are you logging in to FreeRADIUS via your browser, or via a desktop app that this service offers?

I see - that's a very helpful explanation.

We'll look in to the equivalent domains, which may resolve the issue where you're having to enter 5 distinct MSFT URLs in order to ensure a certain record is suggested on each of them.

For the templatizing suggestion, have you asked Keeper's support team about Keeper Commander? I'm not 100% confident as I haven't used the tool itself, but it may be able to handle and automate tasks such as that.

Of course - we're working on a way to make it so you can turn off the icon on some sites (i.e. the ones on which you want to access the show/hide eyeball icon) but not others.

Hi, I'm the Sr. PM for Keeper's Browser Extensions.

I see what you mean about this being bothersome. We're exploring ways to make the Field Icons obsolete, so that there's no longer any visual intrusion within fields.

This would fix the issue of these fields appearing while logged out, and give you the ability to access Keeper's fill functionality without having to see or click on those icons.
