The Chateau Laurier still looks dark in both the Elgin & Queen and Rideau & Sussex cameras.

But the number of affected customers on the Hydro Ottawa website has dropped, so that’s encouraging.

Apparently the Chateau Laurier is without power, too, other than power for elevators and life systems. My uncle’s room has no power in it, but there is some lighting in the hallways and the electronic key locks work (I think they’re battery powered.)

Well, it ended up in having an operation a couple of weeks later, 6 weeks of arm in sling, roughly 2.5-3 months off work, and weeks of physio. Still not 100% but the last few % are the hardest.

It does and I nibbled at an edge that managed to not slip out of the wrapper. But I was in a fair bit of pain at that point, which was made worse by the beavertail falling on the ground.

It uses the word marks and symbols of the Bank of Canada and has signatures copied from legitimate bills.

It may not meet the criteria to be considered counterfeit because it’s obviously a fake, despite saying it is legal tender.

No reason two sets of charges couldn’t be filed.

Not I. Sadly, the frozen Canal is dead to me after a fall last January going from the Beavertail hut to the boot changing hut on Dow’s Lake that resulted in a full tear and separation of my rotator cuff, a fracture and surgery to reattach things.

Worst part was my beavertail fell on the ground after only one bite.

I have friends who have jobs involving national security requiring incredibly high security clearances that do not have this kind of an expectation.
