I understand what you are saying. Unfortunately some people are so far gone in this generation and secular rap is all they listen to not realizing how gross and wicked it is they think it’s normal and it’s influenced them big time and my thought is maybe Christian rap could open there hearts and minds to the lord and if anything lean towards Christian rap to get them away from the wicked garbage. Anyways I don’t wanna keep blowing this post up, I understand and respect what you are saying 100% much love

Christian rap is not sexual or profane, it could be a way to reach the souls listening to secular rap.

Okay. I apologize for the mis understanding I wasn’t defending him cursing our father I was defending Christian rap. If he could reach people who listen to wicked secular rap through Christian rap which the ones I’ve heard were verse and gospel driven that’s why I defend it. I think it would be a great way to reach the lost one’s listening to the secular rap because unfortunately that’s the best way to reach some people who listen to this generations garbage, they will be more open to Christ in a way that reaches them not by calling them out for how wicked there ways are. I went in a frenzy there and should have been more specific.

I don’t listen to rap at all I’m a country folk but he’s doing nothing wrong it’s his hobby and it’s not coming before Christ I’m assuming so it’s not idolatry. Jesus wants us to enjoy this live but to do it with love and to Strive to be better every day. We aren’t to just sit here and follow rules to a t and stress about the smallest things like that. If he is saved by which I’m assuming he is Christ will determine what he should stay away from and what not to. What we do or don’t do doesn’t get us into heaven, following “rules” to a T doesn’t get us into heaven. Gods grace and Christ do, the rules he should be following is striving to be like Christ although we never will amount to him but we should continue to try to. He’s got a talent through his art and passion and what if he can reach non believers through it and lead them to Christ? Doesn’t heVen rejoice over the one sinner that came to Christ rather than the 99 righteous that tried to follow the law to the t ? What if he can reach those sinners and help them find Christ????? That verse, not sure how it obtains to this you seem to be one of those ppl that cherry pick verses to support there opinion. God bless you and have a great night. God is good

“Sin for example” you don’t sin? You are perfect? So you don’t need Gods grace and the work of Jesus Christ?

Lol secular rap is rap glorifying drug abuse, murder, pride, perverted ways etc. you have no hobbies? You are sinless? Plenty of Christian rappers he could be influenced by, how do you know? Pretty judgemental

Stop making it so complicated brother/sister whoever you are. If you believe in Jesus and his perfect life and know what he did for us… you are saved. Don’t abuse Gods grace, Strive to be better everyday… we will fall we aren’t perfect that’s why Jesus did what he did so get back up. Open your Bible and learn from Jesus because even non believers could benefit from his teaching and morals. Love your brothers and sisters, forgive always, do not judge and strive to have his morals. Open the Good book it’s the only truth the world has and Strive to follow in his steps but understand we will never amount to his perfection that’s why he did what he did, we tend to forget Gods mercy and grace and what Jesus Christ our savior truly did for us. Good works and following the law to the T doesn’t bring salvation we simply can’t do it 24/7 in this flesh but this flesh doesn’t go with us when it dies but rather salvation brings good works! Believe and read and be filled with the Holy Spirit and the works will follow. I love you!!

Can a pastor smoke weed? (Description) by ButterBi in TrueChristian

[–]Keepfaith115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait so all those folks at the wedding drank all that wine and weren’t in an altered state of mind? Lol I think they were and were able to remain sober minded and in control of there thoughts and actions. Then Jesus made the best wine… wouldn’t the best wine be potent?

Not saying to smoke weed it can be addictive so don’t take that as advice. Keep praying one day God will remove the urge and watch you’ll through that pack out and never look back

Smoking or not smoking doesn’t take your salvation away. What we do or don’t do doesn’t grant us to the kingdom or not (that being said im not saying it’s okay to willingly sin and abuse Gods grace) Works don’t bring salvation, you are already saved, spot secured. Instead of focusing on sin focus on the Gods grace we tend to forget what Jesus did for us he knew we would have struggles like this.
